I noted some veggy lunch Thali and it was good South Indian. Nothing totally amaze-cakes but hey, nothing wrong with honest Injun food, right? Lunch thali was 450. Serving times started at 1130 but note the thali takes 20 minutes to prepare -- perhaps because it is freshly made, we hope.

I liked their Tandoori chicken & Naan.
Their Chettinad Prawn is very spicy. If they reduce spicy,it would be great.Value for money

Dined at this place couple of times during my recent stay in Colombo. Serves primarily South Indian Cuisine specifically of the Chettinaad Type.
During lunch hours the restaurant serves thalis and it is better to opt for vegeterian thali and then order for specific side-dishes such as mutton or chicken or fish as the non-vegetarian portions with the specific non-vegetarian thalis are relatively small. Food can be on the spicier side especially the non-vegetarian portions, but that is expected as the place serves food of the Chettinaad variety. Chicken Biriyani at the restaurant is a dish which is a real value for money order along with EGB, a sweetened drink of ginger.
The ambience of the place is OK.

From the outside the place looks very cozy, but inside the decor is a bit bland. The staff was very attentive and actually recommended we reduced the order because it was too much for just the two of us. The food was excellent. Especially the chicken biryani, mango lassi and the veg pakora was appreciated. Their masala chai was the perfect ending to a great meal!
