Myself and my brother visited this club on Friday 8th November 2013, and found that the place lacked atmosphere.
The establishment is full of Colombo’s rich, who want to demonstrate the spending power of their parents’ (in Sri Lanka this is the ability to buy a £15 round). We were offered a table by the dance floor for purchasing a bottle of Johnny Walker Black at £80, which can be banked for later use.
Drinks are priced at the same prices you would expect in any European city.
The club does accept credit cards, including American Express.
On the night we visited, the DJ played up-to-date (by European standards) music, however, the cliental seemed reticent to dance, as such the dance floor stayed empty.
We found the staff in the club to be most friendly, and attentive, however the cliental to be by and large less than friendly.
We were given to understand that the club operates couples only, or mixed groups only policy, however on the night we visited, neither of these policies applied, additionally, possibly because we arrived unfashionably early, we were not charged an entry free.
All in all, the night was less than extra ordinary. I have had better nights at the local pub in London.
