My cousin and I visited this temple during May 2014. The exterior is visually fascinating with the intricate details and lessons to be learned from the various Gods. At the time, the interior was being renovated, therefore it was quite dusty.

For non-Hindus, there's not a lot of interaction.

Donations are strongly requested by many - FYI.

Nothing special for tourists, temple "guide" comes uninvited to brief and then asked for minimum of 2000 rupees as donation/money. Every blessing will set you back 1000 rupees per person.

This is a Hindu Shiva temple situated with in the Municipal limits of Colombo. There are no direct bus or public transport to this point you need to take a taxi from the main rod. Most of the time you find only Hindu and regular devotees come here. It is believed that that this Shiva Lingam is more powerful. If you are Hindu and you have some time you can make a visit.
Be decently dressed and there is no entry fees to this attraction.

Might be attractive only if you are a devotee of a diety there. There's nothing special in the temple otherwise. I would go so far as saying that it is pretty boring for a hindu temple. Not worth the visit.
