We stayed here for just one night in November 2013 as the hotel we initially booked was being utilised for the CHOGM. It was surprising to see this pretty little green space very close to a dusty and very busy main road. There wasn't much to see around the hotel if you fancy a walk, however, the hotel grounds are very attractive and secluded from the noise.
The hotel room was very simple and traditional looking, there was also a very large bathroom. I am not sure if they had polished the floor but I ended up with brown on the base of my feet from walking in the room with no shoes on. Obviously, given the green setting of the hotel this did leave us with a mosquitoes a problem in the room and in the little courtyard outside our room.
The food that we had for dinner really was amazing - compliments to the chef. Also, the staff were lovely.More
