My first night visiting Uzbekistan was spent at the Lotte Palace across from the (under restoration) Navoi Theatre in the heart of Tashkent. Travelling with family with a private guide it was a lovely start to our holidays. The only surprise was the lack of decent coffee with the breakfast (it was nescafe, which we found across the entire country). Real coffee was available for purchase in the bar, however the prices were surprisingly high.
Very good rooms, with a nice atmosphere and good wifi. Pool wasn't yet open for the year (not sure why).
