While I have been studiously avoiding non-Turkish cuisine in Turkey so far. Here was an exception. Belle Époque come to life! It is in the precincts of the Rahmi M. Koç museum and we revisited the museum - as it deserves. After an afternoon's strolling around the collection and seeing exhibits we missed the first time and doing the boat trip and souvenir hunting it was time to eat drink and be merry. We were bowled over by the decor No 1! The decor in the gent's WC is great and takes ones mind away completely from one's bowels. Food and beverage selection was first rate, both in choice and quality. Turkish wines, beers and water are available alongside international fare. My wife ate the salmon and was happy as can be - to please an Alexandrian with fish is always a sign something is above average! My steak was also A+. Excellent value for money. Good for the romantically inclined. My advice; do the museum and dine there!
