Istanbul can be quite intimidating at first. I've been to countries with aggressive drivers but never aggressive pedestrians. But I liked this hotel because I could walk to all the big sites and it was very close to a tram line that could take us to the ferry pretty quickly, and off to Asia. Taking a ferry to Asia is amazing. But I digress.....
We chose an economical room which was quite small but they had options for bigger rooms. They were all clean and well kept. Breakfast was simple; fruits, eggs, cereal, bread, very tart orange juice that tasted like Tang and of course coffee. The rooftop restaurant was nice. Especially for a night cap after a full day of running around this city of twenty million. Free Wifi, which was incredibly helpful. Oscar was the best, a total champ helping us with advise and making reservations. Very charming hotel.More
