Great hotel with easy access to old town sites. Wonderful, helpful staff. The balcony has amazing views but a little cold in April. Recommend without reservation!

We stayed in the Blue Mosque Suite on the 3rd floor and had a balcony overlooking the mosque. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The bathroom was superb and had its own mini Turkish bath. All this for a very good price too! There are also ground floor rooms for those who can't manage stairs (no lift).
The breakfast catered very well for all tastes and was excellent. The staff were all welcoming, helpful, cheerful and enthusiastic. Whenever we arrived back, tired and foot-weary, they immediately offered us tea/coffee and cake. On the morning we left, they brought breakfast to our room - even though it was 5.30am. I
t's a wonderful boutique hotel in a great location - quiet at night (apart from the early morning chant from the muezzin), but very close to tourist sights and transport. I can't wait to go back there!

Awesome , really helpful staff, home from home . Stayed for 5 nights at the back end of March . Received a lovely welcome on arrival and the staff were really helpful throughout . The hotel is close to all the major sightsseing venues of the Blue Mosque , Hagi Sophia, Basiilca Cistern . It seems extremely good value for money and a service that far exceeeded expectations

I and my wife stays in this hotel for 5 days. Location between the Blue Mosque and Bosperous, quite touristique but very nice. Very nicely decorated and equipped small rooms, a view to the Mosque, the best breakfast buffet compared to several four stars hotels, friendly reception, wonderful roof terrasse with a view across Istanbul and across Bosperous.

I travel a lot. I frequent 5 star hotels for business and I travel with family often finding value. I struck gold. This is BY FAR/HANDS DOWN the best value for your money ANYWHERE I have been in the world. Let me explain:

1) I paid 60 euros a night for a double room ($75)
2) The location is fantastic as it is only 5 minutes walk to Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sopia and Topkapi Palace!
3) When we arrived, we were greeted very well with sweets and all staff taking care of everything perfectly
4) I was traveling with my 9 month old son. The staff went above the call of duty and bought a new cot and a baby bathtub. I told them it wasnt necessary but they still went ahead an got it. No five star hotel has done that (without paying for it)
5) Breakfast is superb. Great selection and lots to eat. Hot omelletes as well.
6) We also were brought our buffet plates up to the terrace where you have a superb view (unobstructed) of the Blue mosque and the Sea of Marmara. Beautiful.
7) Every afternoon were were asked for tea or coffee (complimentary) and were delivered it within 3 minutes each day after ordering with a nice surprise of a plate of cookies/biscotti. Fantastic.
8) The hotel is owned by an artichetct and it shoes. It is renovated beautifully and it is well decorated and looks new. The bathrooms are small, but adequate, clean and nice looking.
9) Free internet
10) Fatih and Imrah were fantastic hosts/managers who took care of everything and gave great suggestions. They became like family.

I am forgetting a lot of things, but I am very satisfied with this stay. I would recommend this place to any everyone.

The only one drawback to this hotel is that if you are wishing for a livelier evening and nightlife, you have to head out to the new part of Istanbul to Beyoglu. Sometimes we taxi'd it and sometimes we took the tram. But this isnt the hotel's fault. It was my choice to stay in Sultanahmet.

Our stay in Best Point hotel was a pleasure from we arrived until we left. The hotel staff (Emrah and his collegues) was friendly and helpful, and included us as part of "the family". The rooms were clean, and nicely decorated, the breakfast was good, and the terrace was perfect for champagne drinking (or take your coffee there in the mornings) and just enjoying the view of the Blue moskè and the Marmara sea. Istanbul is a very interesting city, the Turkish people very friendly and helpful, and a visit to the hamam (turkish bath) is a must. We recomend you find a local one instead of the ones mentioned in the guide books. The carpet sellers are very persistent. If you don't want to look in their shops you have to be very clear about that, unless you want them following you around. Enjoy a visit to one of the restaurants outside the spice bazar, or just stroll around in the city at you leasure. We definately recommend a stay in the Best Point hotel.
