Perfectly located, clean, very nice mornings and evenings on the terrace. A quiet hotel a few minutes away from all the main attractions. The staff is very friendly, maybe a little too much...:) We would definitely stay at Adamar again!

Wow, we stayed 4 nights in this lovely and cute Hotel. The rooms are not very big but it is enough as you just will be in the room to sleep. No need for more space.
The lacation is, as we say in German: "Hammer!". You will be in the heart of the old City, near the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Hammam, the Basilica. The Tram is near and will bring you to all places in Istanbul. We did most of the trips by Taksi. Not very expensive and very comfortable. The Hotel as 5 Floors, a Restaurant for the breakfast in the 6th and an amazing roof-restaurant offering you the best view of Istanbul.
The room was clean and the staff very helpfull and nice. Whenever i am in Istanbul i will stay at the Adamar Hotel.

We didn't stay here, but we ate at the rooftop restaurant. It was our last dinner in Istanbul and we were celebrating my father's birthday, so may husband and I went searching for the perfect rooftop restaurant for this meal. We personally checked a handful of the tallest rooftops in the Old City, and this was by far the best. We were searching during the day. However, when we showed up for dinner that night, the view was even more astounding. The Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia are blocks away and marvelously lit up at night. You also get a great view of the Bosphorous and the first twinkling Bosphorous bridge out in the distance. The mezzes were pretty good, but not the best I've had in Istanbul, but our main courses were all fantastic. But, the food almost doesn't even matter given the ridiculous views you get while sitting on this rooftop at night.

We asked our travel agent to help us find a nice, small hotel (4 stars or better) on a street with shops and restaurants in a walkable negihborhood close to attractions. The Adamar fit the bill perfectly with the added bonus of a rooftop restaurant offering what have to be the best views in all of Istanbul.

Hotel staff members were courteous, personable and engaging -- just the right touch after days spent dodging rug vendors and jostling with tourists and locals in the dynamic and crowded streets and markets of old and new Istanbul.

The room was comfortable, modern and had its own milliondollar view of the harbor and the Galata Tower. Even the complimentary map was indispensable -- the best resource we found for navigating streets and transit systems.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent hotel conveniently situated within walking distance of most attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. One of the best rooftop views in Istanbul from the roof top restaurant. This was our second visit and the standard was the same. Ate breakfast and dinner there watching the sun set over the city. Magic
