Great food, great services and great ambiance! The hotel is next door to the famour Dolmabahce Palace and one can also take a boat for a ride or cruise to the Asian side, to the Grand Bazaar in the Old City or just a leisure cruise on the Bosphorus, with or without dinner, all from the hotel's doorstep.

The service is excellence and worth your stay there, especially in summer when the view of The Bosphorus is simply priceless !!

What I would expect from a four seasons. I stayed at this four seasons in early january, and though it was raining, the grounds were beautiful. Staff/Service were great, nice pool and spa area (showers in the gym are amazing) in the basement, but one of my favorite parts of this hotel was the small turkish touches added to the decor of the rooms. From the wall seats with turkish lamps to the hammam feeling of the bathrooms (with domed ceilings and ambient lighting), thought it was spot on. Definitely recommend.

The location was perfect for an autumn getaway from rainy Denmark. Weather was warm and sun was shining. I was travelling with my six year old daughter and we had a fantastic experience. The facilities (indoor/outdoor pool, large terrace and spacitious rooms) at the hotel make it a perfect place for the balance needed when travelling to cities with small kids. Staff was friendly and helpful as always at FS. Food was great. Minor points are that you need to select newspaper in paper each day. Review tyo hotel was answered by manager with update on changes to in room entertainment implemented in 2012.

I would definitely choose this hotel over the FS sultahnamet. While traffic can be a hasle, taxis are cheap and the buzzing and hectic feeling of the city is part of the experience.

Room Tip: Shoose the roomes with view over the Bosphorus.

My family stayed at this hotel for an entire week and were thrilled to be there everyday. The views of the Bosphorous are outstanding. The service at this hotel is outstanding-from the front desk to the concierge to housekeeping. We enjoyed the best brunch/dinner buffet on Christmas Day-it was the best buffet we have ever seen. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet-a true respite after being in the chaos of Instanbul during the day. The indoor pool was fabulous and we took advantage of it most days. The private hammam is great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is worth every penny. If you are spending 4, 5 or more days in Istanbul, I recommend staying at the Four Seasons Sultanhamet for two nights to make it easier to see the sights in the old city, but I'd definitely stay here the other nights. The Bosphorous location is conveniently located for visiting the Palace Dolmabache, taking the ferry tours of the Bosphorous, traveling to the Asian side, going to restaurants and getting to Taskin Square. Love this hotel!

Room Tip: Be sure to get a room with a view.

For our thirtieth anniversary we had decided to go to Istanbul and booked our accommodations through Amex Travel. By doing so, we were cheerfully upgraded to really special suites that were spacious and very enveloped in the cultural feel of the country. The Four Seasons has 2 locations in Istanbul, and we heard you can split your stay between the "old" and "new" city locations and we did just that. What spectacular locations and accommodations. The Four Seasons staff are truly professionals and were some of the nicest people we've met in Europe (we get around a bit). From the front desk, to the concierge to the doorman, everyone was super patient, courteous and genuinely helpful. I can't say what a difference the people can make.
