We stayed in the Penthouse, as well as the Grand King Panoramic room and both were wonderful. The Grand King Panoramic is much larger in space with a kitchenette. It truly felt grand when we walked into the spacious room and saw the marvelous views. Bathroom had a very large shower (only problem was that the glass door did not fully shut). The Penthouse felt a little tired compared to the Grand King Panoramic room, but the floor to ceiling windows, wrap around terrace and sweeping views (same views as the Grand King panoramic but one flight up) more than made up for it. I will always remember waking up to that incredible view of the Golden Horn, Old City and Bosphorus. What really stands out about this boutique hotel is the service. From the moment we made reservations to the moment we checked out, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They reserved shuttles for us, stored baggage for us while we went on a side trip and were kind enough to accommodate a 4am breakfast. Breakfast was more than sufficient (scrambled eggs were made perfectly!), and we truly enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace of the Penthouse. They do not have 24 hour room service like a bigger hotel but they accommodate in other ways. One night we were too tired to go out to dinner so they ordered a meal for us from a local kebab place and it was delicious. Another time we went to a local restaurant (Alchemist) based on the concierge's recommendation and the food was very good. The Cihangir location was great, close to many restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. The hotel is very close to Istanbul Modern (which was a fun way to spend a morning). The tram is just down the hill, but coming up the hill after a long day is a bit tiring. We sometimes took a taxi back because of this. I would stay at the Witt again, it made our first trip to Istanbul magical.

- Witt Istanbul Suites has an excellent location within walking distance from Istanbul's business district, Istanbul Modern museum and the buzzing bars and boutiques of both Beyoglu and Cihangir. All 15 suites span a generous 60m2. They are popular for long-stay guests as each has a Carrera marble-clad kitchenette with microwave, fridge and Nespresso machine. The super-cool beds with curved headboards and the laptop desks have been especially designed for Witt Istanbul Suites by Autoban. Sheets and towels were also commissioned from Denizli, a famous purveyor of Turkish linen. Cable TV, an excellent DVD collection, ipod docks and a welcome gift of multi-coloured macaroons are indulgent touches. But it's the bathrooms that make these suites really special.
