My husband and stayed at the Park Hyatt in late September for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay
The location of the hotel is lovely, surrounded by designer stores and great little cafe's and restaurants. It is not a million miles from the metro station and none of the cabs we took to travel around took that long or cost a fortune.
The rooms were comfortable and well planned, we had a juliet balcony overlooking the pool area which was pretty.
The one thing which was slightly irritating was that when we arrived we decided to grab something to eat before we ventured out and the menu in the hotel room which had a wide variety of dishes was not available anywhere BUT in the room or so we were told by the waitress by the pool. The menu which was available was limited but the food which we had was delicious.
Breakfast which is served just off the lobby was fab with lot's of selection and not as expensive as some of the the other Hyatt breakfasts we have had.
All in all a great stay and we recommended it to my parents who went last week and also enjoyed.

There's a lot going on in Istanbul right now, with the cool factor being ramped up by the city's stylish citizens. The best hotel to be based at, if you want to explore the new look of Istanbul, is without doubt the Park Hyatt. Located in the heart of the chic Nisantasi district, it's a suberb & elegant space from which to browse the new designers of fashion and homeware that have sprouted up here.
The Four Seasons Bosphorus is formal and a little generic (but with a great spa & location on the river), the W is gloomy & trying too hard to be hip, & forget about staying in the old city unless you want to share breathing space with five million tourists.

I'm Turkish but live abroad and travel a decent amount. Stayed at the Park Hyatt for 5 days back in September and was very impressed. I've stayed at the Ciragan before and other hotels when I'm in town for business. I dont have anything negative to say about the Park Hyatt. Location is in Nisantasi which is quite central and a cool area. Its sort of in the middle of the old town (sultanahmet) and the hot spots in Ortakoy/Bebek, etc. The service is excellent, the rooms are very nice (my room had a hamam in it and a steam room), the breakfast is superb (cooked breakfast included in the price and you can even have it in your room). The pool is small (Ciragan's pool is of course amazing) but still good for a dip. The gym is small but has the necessary equipment. Nisantasi of course has shopping, cafes, cinema's etc so there's things to do around as well. The service level, as mentioned, is very high and personal. Same time I stayed there I had several friends from London at the hotel as well, they all loved it.

I stayed in this hotel on a short city break- and found it very impressive.

Staff is very professional and provide attentive service.

Location: in a very interesting area of Istanbul- close to some good shopping opportunities.

Would recommend this hotel to any traveller.

My family booked three rooms at the hotel, all of which had been reserved as standard rooms. We were given two suites (which seem to be "standard") that were absolutely lovely (but without views) and one oversized room with an excellent view. The suites had a comfortable sitting area that could be closed off with pocket doors from the spacious bedroom. The bathrooms were large and luxurious with a tiled stall shower, separate WC cubicle, a second sink with filtered water and a large tub. The room had excellent bedding, 2 televisions, a Nespresso coffee maker and charming amenities. The hotel has an excellent pool and good but very expensive food. It is located in the most upscale area of Istanbul with Chanel, Hermes and many good restaurants and cafes nearby. There is a lot of lively street life and a real neighborhood feeling. I've stayed at the Four Seasons Sultanahmet many times before, and the Park Hyatt is much nicer in every respect except that the Four Seasons is a lot more convenient for Old City sightseeing.

We stayed as a couple in October this year. Its in the Nisantasi area which is a great location to be at if you are young and you like great cafes, bars and small clubs. It has an energetic buzz in the evening and its in the hip and happening part of Istanbul. There are many shops in the area also almost all the brands are present international as well as local.

The rooms are also great, well planned, modern and amenities are superb. We also had a steam in the room which is very relaxing. The service is fabulous all the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Special mention for the entire concierge team they really go out of the way to help you and have good knowledge about the city.

If you are looking for a large luxurious spa then this is not the hotel for you, it has a small spa with a very good therapist and there is no Turkish Haman in the Spa. This hotel is all about location, service and very comfortable modern rooms with great amenities.
