We stayed for 4 nights at the Witt Suites and then moved to Park Hyatt to experience another area of Istanbul. This hotel was about 3 times more expensive than the Witt and not nearly so lovely or comfortable. I booked a room with a special Turkish bath, which turned out to be an in room sauna (not really very useful or pleasant) with a standard bath and small marble basin and foot stool with a remote control for ?light therapy which was different colored light emanating from one light. Ridiculously expensive breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. The view from the room was over a fairly run down apartment building and it's carpark and a small pool and closed terrace area which had not been cleaned in some time. The staff were pleasant. The gym was good. The room service was average. Wifi was also very expensive and sporadic.

Stayed for three nights in a spa king room. The room was excellent particularly having the steam room and Hannah available. Service was equally excellent. However the cost of food and the quality of the meals we had, left a lot to be desired, which was mirrored across the whole city. We ate in Prime and found the steaks contained large amounts of gristle and the mashed potato resembled custard as it was so runny. Not to much to complain about really but the bill with one bottle of cheaper Turkish wine, two average starters and two steaks came to £170! The same was encountered at Mikla although the food was better there for the same price.

Lovely hotel and excellently renovated. Lobby is a bit disappointing though and lacks atmosphere.
Service throughout the hotel is very good. Bedrooms are fantastic...superbly fitted out and so comfortable. Bathrooms are exceptionally well fitted.
Food was excellent and good variety of dishes served in the restaurants.
The area in which the hotel is located is upmarket so expect prices to be fairly high but a short trip by taxi to the big shopping district is only about 12 minutes away.
Nice park situated just a few hundred metres from the hotel which has a good playground for children.
Istanbul overall is a beautiful city and has so much culture and history to offer. It is a city well worth visiting. Huge selection of restaurants in Istanbul also and local produce as in fruits etc are top quality..
Make sure to visit the Galeta Tower as well as the underground Roman Water Basicila....Topaki Palace is a must too. There is a wonderful cemetery overlooking the city & has splendid views of the course of the Bosphorous River. Piet Loti (famous french author) resided in this area and there is a beautiful little house where his works are on show. Well worth a visit and not on the tourist trail or in guidebooks!
Night life thrives in this city and the many tiny cobbled side streets are a must to see.
Public transport overall in the city is good but beware of the traffic! In daytime hours it is horrendous!!!!

great mix of trend and tradition. gorgeous hotel and incredible staff. room was all mod-cons, with electronic shutters, ipod docs, ultra deep bath with light therapy, heated floors and more besides. gorgeous artwork and sleek combination of fabrics/design in the room, with leathers, woods, stones et al.
location is great for shoppers, with armani below and gucci around the corner.
it's like staying in london's old bond street or munich's maximillianstrasse.
very good service. top drawer.

This hotel is very cool - great decor - with amazing rooms - however, it is fairly pricey.

The service is very good - and the spa treatments were amazing.

The area is extremely up market with top end shops on the street next to the hotel - it is a bit like Sloane Street in London.

My gripes are:

The outside area looks a bit tired - the pool looks great in the pictures - but is surrounded by offices + flats - all looking at the pool area. The pool was freezing and a bit worn.

I would defintely go back though

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel over an extended weekend, while in Istanbul for the World Basketball Championships and the U2 Concert there.

We arrived at around 11am on Saturday morning, and, as requested, we were quickly checked in immediately (no issue with our early arrival), by the very friendly staff.

The Hotel is located in one of the best areas of Istanbul, Nisantasi, which is the prime shopping area. The location is excellent. The Hotel opened in 2008, and is in pristine condition.

The room (a Spa King room) was HUGE! Very clean, with an amazing spa bathroom (with hamam / steam bath, rain shower and a huge bathtub), all lights electronically controlled, super sized very comfortable bed, large LCD TV with DVD player, large closet, overall a great room, in great condition.

Service was always fast and efficient, and delivered with a smile and a greeting.

I used the Hotel Spa for a Thai Massage which was excellent, and very well priced.

Overall, and I don't say this too often, a great hotel, very well managed! I have stayed in other Hotels in Istanbul, including the Hyatt, but this one beats them all if we consider the price paid for each one. We paid €440 / night (without breakfast), and I can tell you that I felt that the price was fair compared to the Four Seasons or the Ciragan at double that.
