We lived in this hotel from January 4 to January 16, 2013, in number Tuci. The hotel very much was pleasant, from a window a fine view of Bosphorus. Owners of hotel. Mr Oktay and his family very hospitable and attentive people. The hotel is in proximity from many sights of Istanbul. We remained are very happy. Let's recommend this hotel to the friends, and in the following arrival to Istanbul we will surely stop in this hotel.

Our favorite place in Istanbul, clean ans cozy.. you feel here really at home, well taken care of by Mr. Oktay and his family. The hotel is situated in the historical part of Istanbul, it is easy to move around. Near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, this place is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and have everything you need, comfortable beds, wifi, nice view (ask for the sea view), bathroom. Mr. Oktay can give you the best advise on places to visit and things to do... We are coming to this place for last few years, as a family, and also with a group of friends and we are happy to recommend you Mystic Hotel for your visit to Istanbul.

Room Tip: ask for the sea view

It's a really suitable hotel. It is neither a big hotel in which you feel lost in the crowd nor a pension where you sleep in the same room with strangers. My room was Tuci, it is not a big one and there is no need to be so. All I needed was a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, a good view from my window along with a wireless internet connection.
The hotel is advantageous in many ways.
Firstly, Mr. Oktay can speak English and French, the thing which is considered rare in Turkey since all people there. even in hotels, couldn't speak English well.
Secondly, it is needless to say that the hotel is very near from the surrounding touristic places like Ayasophia mosque, Sokollu mosque, HagiaSophia museum,SultanAhmet mosque, Topkapi palace and Obelisks. It is just a matter of 5 minutes walking.
Finally, from an economical standpoint this hotel is considered to be the optimum. Although i have chosen Mystic hotel at first because it was the best hotel with an appropriate money rate, i think that the next time I will chose it again INSHALLAH even though i will have much more money.

Room Tip: Tucci with its excellent view over Marmara sea.

Its clean, peacefull and quiet , perfectly to feel at home and enjoy a great view to the sea from the seaviewrooms and the terrace. Wireless internet connection workes in each Corner and the selection of the Televison Channels is more then enough.
The family is very helpfull and nice, they helped us aswell to make great trips and gave us many ideas for Istanbul.
Position is perfect bcs all the old town and places like blue mosque or Hagia Sophia and Grandbazar or sunken city...
Everything is near and closed.
And as i said in the beginning its great athmosphere!

Mystic Hotel is a nice family hotel, where you feel welcomed. There is a good atmosphere at the hotel and the owner, Mr. Oktay, was very nice and courteous. The rooms are very tidy and clean, so was the bathroom. Although it's very close to the touristik area Sultanahmet, it was in a quite destrict. If you are looking for a place where you have a touch of home than Mystic hotel is the best choice.

we had booked in another hotel but they said if we agreed to transfer us to a better hotel nearby. the location is really good. in a few minutes you are at sulltan ahmed center.
i usually book 3 star hotels and all i need for a hotel is to be clean and good beds to sleep because i spend all the day around the city so luxury is not my demand but this hotel has not even the minimal standards.
the bathroom was not so clean and the i guess they didn't put much effort in cleaning during the 2 days of our stay . the singel bad was very uncomfortable with an old mattress.
the breakfast really really poor. No juice, no milk, some fruits not fresh at all. second day no water at all so that you could buy it from the frig.
and a lot of dust in the terrace.
the tv first day was working and the second day not.
i certanly want come back to that hotel

Mystic Hotel is a family hotel! It's a nice, small hotel in a very good spot, with a real good price runned by a great family I get to know during my stay.
Everything is just on the corner and the hotel boss is always helping with information and caring about his guests! He even took his time to show me around and give me further information about everything.
We had breakfast every day even until almost noon. Off course from time to time new tea must be boiled, so no matter what and when we asked for, the boss always helped and cared.
For those who complained here: Pls if u wanted a 4 star hotel directly go to a 4 star hotel!
We had all the best we needed for this small price with the best location and great hospitality!
I will miss that hotel and that family inside and for sure I will go there again!
