Spent one night here and was satisfied with my stay. Staff were very accomodating and helpful. Location of the hostel is also convenient as it is next to Takism Square, where buses go to and from the airports. Reccommended

I loved The chambers of the boheme! Awsome place, with a nice turk aspect and the staff is so friendly! Mr. ahmet is a "clown", a joker man, ever trying to make you smile. The answer a lot of doubts. very nice. Locatilation is so good also, close to taksin, to the haya sofia and blue mosque. a nice place to stay.

This is my first hostel experience . My son planed the trip so I was a bit off on the whole cheap seats thing as I am 53 and can afford whatever I like. But I must say Ahmet the owner has really made a huge difference as well as the people you meet here. Young yes, but most very well traveled and able to give good advice. if you want to walk and see and taste Istanbul this is your location. Most everything is close. And as a shopper Wow so many . Hot showers Yes. Fresh towels and the toilet and shower is separate . One of each on each floor. Bring your own shampoo. Fresh tea every day. 50 lira from the airport put on your seatbelt its a must as you end up deep in old turkey . the bus takes forever because your off the main roads.and wow if you like ancient structures this is your place. Everything is close. If you try the street sea muscles let me know I just could not. But we have eaten every other street food and no problem. Off to prince island today.

Room Tip: He has an elevator so the floor is not an issue

I booked into this IHA hostel (I am a member) by telephone, as I didn't have the use of a computer in the place I was staying in, in Bulgaria. I have only praise for the welcome, assistance, concern of the manager. The hostel was comfortable, had a good feeling about it. Yes, it is old, and I had to climb many stairs, but that was ok with me. The main thing, the bed was comfortable, there was hot water, and a great welcome. Nice and central in Taksim square. Definitely to be recommended. I stayed there for 3 nights this month. Rosemary

Room Tip: The older side has no lift, but the newer side has - ask for the lift side!

This hostel has a great location, easy walking distance to everywhere in beyoglu. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. There was hot water all the time. We were upgraded to a 5 bed dorm with its own bathroom, this was great.
