“Good Value for Money and Good Location”

I stayed with my family for 3 nights at Alaadin Hotel, the stay was pleasant and convenient. Very safe and quit area and close to all historical places. Food was not an issue as it is within 2 to 3 minutes walk. The rooms were slightly small but suitable for a short stay. The breakfast was great with verious collections to choose from. The staff were very helpful and polite.
Had agreat time and will stay there again when possible.

We booked into the Alaaddin Hotel for 24 nights in April/May of 2012. I would recommend this venue. In a foreign city and with a different culture, it is so nice to have someone to go to for answers to questions, directions, help, advice etc. etc. The staff at the Alaaddin fill the bill. They are English speaking and know Istanbul. We felt safe and trusted them implicitly. The hotel is centrally located, we walked all around Sultanhamet and back. Breakfast was typically Turkish, just what we wanted as we were there to experience Turkey. The view from the rooftop terrace had The Blue Mosque right in your view, you felt as though you could reach out and touch it. To see it illuminated at night was incredible. Our room was at the front of the hotel and was bright and comfortable, housekeeping kept it immaculate. I would return to the Alaaddin again and hope I have the opportunity to do so . Mohammed and his staff are there 24 hours a day. We were safe and comfortable and felt at home. There are many hotels to choose from, the Alaaddin gave us everything we were looking for and we felt it was great value for the money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front, looks out on to the street, breeze blows through the open window.

I am a regular visitor to Istanbul (every 3 months), and I can honestly say, that from the very first minute I stepped through the doors of Alaaddin Hotel until I said goodbye, it was the most heartwarming, welcoming I have ever received. Mohammad and the staff of the hotel, are very well trained, and nothing is a problem for them. Their professionalism speaks volumes ! Apart from the fact that the hotel is situated in the heart of Sultanahmet, and close to all the main attractions, you can rest assured, that with the guidance of the friendly staff, you will have a problem free holiday. If you need something, they'll get it for you....if you need to go anywhere by car, they'll arrange it....their general knowledge of the area is phenominal ! And what is more rewarding, than being offered a cup of coffee, with a friendly smile, after a long tiring day ? I will never stay at any other hotel....thumbs up to Hotel Alaaddin & professional, friendly staff !

Room Tip: Ask for Room 302 :-)...overlooks the cobblestone street below...

The hotel's location is perfect, it is just a few steps away from the next tram stop and is close to the main attractions. The room was not big but clean. The reception desk staff was exteremely friendly and polite. Breakfast was relatively poor. This hotel is good value for money.

The location is indeed excellent for exploring many of the sights of Istanbul - a short walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, and very near a tram stop, but on a quiet street away from the noise of the main drag. The room was also very acceptable and good value for the price - small, but nicely decorated and very functional. Breakfast on the terrace was great - make sure you go all the way up to the roof to see the view of the mosques and the water. The staff were also helpful and generally friendly. Our one gripe with the hotel was the lobby as it generally very dark, with a strong bad smell emanating from somewhere near the stairwell.

A tip - there are many similar hotels concentrated in this area, several of which are not listed online, so depending on how busy the city is during your visit it may be possible to stroll around and negotiate a better price at a comparable hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff made feel like home, breakfast is ok with nice view from the restaurant.
I recommended to my friends who will visit Istanbul.
Hope will back again ... and ofcourse I will stay in Alaaddin Hotel.
Thanks to Mohammad and all the staff, special for the staff who serve breakfast ...

A great hotel with awesome location, old cities lovely restaurants are just outside the door. And everything else you wanna see is within walking distance. Helpful and friendly staff, cozy, clean and nice size hotel. Easy to get to and they organize airport transfer.
Breakfast buffé was good and we had it on the roof, with the most fantastic view. :)

Rooms are a bit badly sound isolated, never heard anything from outside, but could hear people walking/talking in the corridors very clearly.

But best thing is the location, cant get better!!!
