I spend 12 great days this july and I had really great time there.

Facts about hostel:
- three floor building, no elevator (I didn't mind that), secure code doors on entrance, first and second floor.
- it is very well situated near Taksim square, just bellow main pedestrian street surrounded by lot's of bars, discos, clubs, restaurants, shops, markets ... for partying and nightlife it is amazing spot (witch reminds me, if you are not for party's until early morning hours bring or buy earplugs, you will need it).
- rooms are classical backpack rooms, bunk beds, spacy, kitschy decorations, lockers inside, clean sheets provided.
- kitchen is nicely equipped and great starting point to prepare and have a meal, beer and meet lot of interesting people.

What makes my stay great there are staff ... nice, pleasant, informative, fun and very helpful. Yeliz is one of the nicest hostel workers I ever meet, sweet and always willing to help you on any question and situation you have and Ivan and Mila are 24/7 fun and party animals with best recommendation for nightlife in town. Hostel bar was also great spot to meet and mingle with other guests and locals, they were organizing party's few times a week.

Anyway, I have a great summer holiday there, and would recommend it to all travelers who are seeking good accommodation with lot's of socializing and fun for the price that is more than affordable.

The hostel is well located, right next to the crowded iskital street and adjacent bars and discos. This makes this hostel a perfect option for those who want to engage in a highly active night life, as the loud music won't let you sleep until late in the night.

The biggest problem is the lack of hygiene which attract some unwanted attention from some animals as well as the rather strange and horrible bathrooms (the ones one the upper floor are better).

As for the rooms, if you're staying in a +10 bedroom get ready for a messy environment with practically no separation between mattresses and beds. The lockers will help you protect your personal belongings if you manage to get a key. As for the private rooms, for what I saw they looked pretty good.

In the end, if you're in for some fun then this is the right place if you manage to get over the problems I mentioned before.

Room Tip: Private rooms look good. Stay away from the +10 bedrooms.

I spent almost a week in the hostel and it was a completely caos! The beds were very close, the nightlife at nights was horrible, it was hot inside, the bathrooms were disgusting -when they were not out of service...-, it was small and they asked me to pay my bill the first day there. There were only two things that made me remain there, the price and the stuff. Sorry guys...

I had a great time in Chengo and Lea, the location was pefect for me, because i really enjoy real life.. The area is alive 24 h., the bars and night clubs, the street art.. the "working girls" around it's really near to Taksim sqr. And the hostel is a easy/chilling spot in this mess around, i really liked it, well there are few things, but for me (i don't need plasma tv, games, luxury toys) was great. Ivan is my friend now and the boss :-) too! We were drinking a beer together.. was a nice time like i said!

I spent six days in hostel and three days in Cappadicia. The location is great for visiting Istanbul and the stuff was very helpful for recommending what to see in Istanbul and to visit Cappadocia. Very good trafic to Taxim square where the hostel is. Just a five minutes walk to the best parties. I never wait for the bath. The rooms have aircondition. Everything you need is very near (bus station, metro, food, exchange office, restorans, shops). A place I will stay for another visit in Istanbul.
