“Not a great option”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Positive- the staff and location. If not one of the worst experiences.
Loud noises from the renovation of the rooms and pool which were very disturbing.
Extremely tiny rooms n washrooms, this is more of an accommodation for singles and not couples or families.
No telephone to contact the reception or room service.
A TV that wasn't working, though it was not required.

We were more than happy with our stay here, it was far better than we had expected. Breakfast was great with so much choice accommodating everybody. The rooms were very nice and the hotel was very clean, staff were always very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool on top of the hotel was great with being in a built up area. It was very central and perfect to catch the tram to all the sites. If we go to Istanbul again we would stay here again.

This is a basic hotel with rooms which vary between medium to bijou! It is well-located, only 3 stops on the tram to the heart of Istanbul (Blue Mosque, Ayia Sofia etc), and the tram station is very close by.

The breakfast (included) is very adequate - provided you are prepared to be slightly more adventurous (mayonnaise peas, anyone?!) - but is great even if you just want juice, croissant and a coffee.

The pool is small but LOVELY, on an open-air terrace on the roof, with retractable perspex roof - so try to go at a warm time of air - swimming with the roof open is great - and the views south over the Sea of Marmara from the pool are great. Supposedly you're only allowed to use it once per day but I didn't find anyone minded me going morning and evening.

The rooms are clean, the air-con works, there is a fridge and a telly. The bathroom are small (shower only in ours), but adequate. Easy to get to both airports - for Sabiha Gokcen, get the tram to Eminonu then get the ferry to Kadikoy, from where there is a bus that takes about 45 mins.

Recommended for a city break - you will need a swim after pounding the Istanbul pavements!

Room Tip: The streets are quite noisy but most rooms overlook one - tire yourselves out sightseeing and swimmi...

It' s a very good hotel better than I expected, it's close to the Grand Bazaar about a 7 minutes walk and 20 minutes to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. It's very close to T1 tram station and Aksaray metro station wich takes you directly to Ataturk airport (about 10 mins walk to metro station). The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and diverse buffet. The rooms are small but very clean and with AC, very useful in the summer. The pool is on the top floor, is about 8 meters long and 4 wide, 1,65 m deep, clean and the roof is retractable so you can enjoy the summer sun. Overall it's a good place to spend your vacation in Istanbul !

This a nice hotel that is very clean with friendly helpful staff. It has a nice swimming pool and if you stay 3 nights they provide free transportation to the International airport. It is convenient to the Tramway that gets you to all the major attractions. There is a large buffet breakfast, but the food in served cool including the eggs. The are a number of good restaurants in the area.
Rooms are relatively small with a twin beds or a double bed, but clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for a week in May / June 2014 and it was great. Ten out of ten for cleanliness and service and friendliness. Swimming pool was a total bonus and free - not sure what previous comments on charging after 4pm are about?! You do have to pay for other leisure facilities.

Breakfast buffet was huge - and a selection of hot foods were available (eggs, sausages, etc).

Shower temp control was a bit iffy at times but not unbearable. Air con was very efficient for us Scots who found the city hot and dusty!

Great location, easily within walking distance of all main sites and restaurants for evening meals. We ate in twice and it was a good and fairly simple menu selection.

Oh, and a huge thank you to Gazi on reception who arranged for the hotel driver to wait and wait and wait for us to finally emerge from the airport after our flight from Edinburgh was delayed four hours and we didn't arrive until after 2am.

Reception are happy to book up various trips and excursions for you but if you book direct then you save money (Bosphorus boat trip was advertised at 45 Euros each but we haggled and got it for 35 each. Similar story with the Big Bus Tour).

Room Tip: oh, well, I suspect there are no quiet rooms as the Imam seems to be all around when it comes to pra...

I was visiting Istanbul with some family and really noted our stay. We could walk to most attractions such as blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, golden horn and the grand bazaar. Lovely 30 minute walk to golden horn. The food menu is limited but no dearth of places nearby for a good meal.
