Enjoyed our stay in this hotel - the staff, especially Ayhan and Ismail were very helpful and accommodating. We were given a few rooms to choose from on our arrival with different views of the area. We chose rooms with views of the Sultanahmet Mosque which made our stay especially memorable! My only criticisms of the rooms would be that considering that one of the rooms we booked was a triple room, it does not seem like the hotel is well prepared for a triple occupancy. The rooms seem quite cramped with more than 2 occupants and if you are staying for just over a week this can feel a little claustrophobic. Perhaps the hotel can work on this somehow as it could be the only major hindrance in my booking with them in the future. Also, the wallpaper/paint was peeling in a few places in the rooms - this could be freshened up as it makes the rooms feel shabby and grotty despite their not actually being so. Lastly, the view of the mosque was a little obstructed by the tree in the empty lot next the hotel. It looked like the tree previously had been trimmed to clear the view but not recently which meant that our corner room had a clear view of the mosque but the adjoining room had a clear view of the tree and an obstructed view of the mosque.
The breakfast was generous and included a variety of foods, with selections varying every day. However, you have to especially request pancakes or eggs which makes starting off your day begging for an extra pancake seem a little too miserly!
The location was great - right behind the blue mosque, making the major sites within Sultanahmet within walking distance. Ayhan and Ismail were very helpful though so if you were considering venturing further out of the touristy areas or booking a tour, they were very informative and helpful.
Overall, I may consider rebooking for a future visit!

Room Tip: Stayed in 304 and 305 as a double and triple occupancy. Great views of the blue mosque.

Darussaade hotel is a very warm and welcoming hotel . The staff are first class. Nothing was to much trouble. The receptionist there recommended some tours for my wife and I which were great. They organised a you're of the old city with a lady by the name of Sema UysL who was fantastic . She tool us all around showing and explaining and informing us about the history Istanbul. She even showed us the best places to eat and which jewelry shops could be trusted to sell us the genuine silver and gold .

Room Tip: Room. 303 was very good .good view of the sea and passing ships. It was a corner roo

My husband and I spent a few days here during our honeymoon. It was great! Great location, super friendly staff, who went above and beyond (pretty sure Ismail the front desk guy does not sleep. He was there for us all the time, whether we were coming or going.) beautiful hotel, and the most comfortable bed I have ever had.

We really recommend this place!
