This guest house is new and immaculate and the staff very kind and responsive. Its location is the best possible with terrace views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Bosporus shipping. I am older and enjoy reflection and reading and did that when I was here. Tomomi gave me special treats and Vahap who has lived in the US was flexible and funny and efficient. He explained why the rug merchants and café men still accost you in Sultanahmet as you pass.

That about sums it up! One of the cleanest hostels I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. Plenty of showers & toilets, excellent breakfast and the hostel employees were great. Pretty mellow crowd so I had no problems with noise, etc. Great location for visiting all of the major tourist sites - a little far from the nightlife though. I would stay here again.

From the rooftop on the premise you can expect sunshine pouring through heavy shade of clouds into marmara sea. To throw out everything inside, I saw there white seagulls as a auspicious incarnation of angel!

Well, that may be happen even in neighbours of the same business and thus, you really have a chance to experience for yourself what I has gone through with a bottles of Efes pilsener.

The reception offered me an unexpected upgrade to double room thanks to the Allah and low season.
In spite of tight schedule for breakfast hours, most tourists seemed to be there on time, enjoy as if they were all early birds.

The rooftop bar offers only non-alcohol drinks however, no limitation was applied to the guests regarding official procurement of the alcohol from the neighbour grosseries or more precisely - bakkal.

Chances are that I will be there again, even though it would come after several decades.
Maa shaa allah!

Room Tip: ability to negociate in Turkish with a sense of humor

Great place to stay in the middle of the tourist district. Walk to everything. Good service (except for one unhappy employee), good breakfast spread in the morning, and great views from the rooftop terrace of both the blue mosque and aya sofia. I would stay here again.

In a very nice-looking well-kept house I have found the best service I could get according to my budget! I have stayed in a 4-bed mixed dorm shared bathroom for two nights and loved everything: the location, the comfortable mattress, one of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen, the view from the terrace, the delicious breakfast, full of options and included in the price. Trust me, I'm picky about cleanliness and food and this place met my expectations after all the positive reviews I had read here. Staff always nice and attentive. One can stay there without any worries!

Room Tip: Room number 4 has a small window to the street, which is normally calm, but a car passing by or some...

I stayed here for a week so got to know and appreciate the friendly team who run this little guesthouse. It's spotlessly clean and great value. Included in the price is a super breakfast buffet in the rooftop common room and terrace, which you can enjoy while looking out over the Bosporus.
