We spent very nice time in Istanbul and Hotellino hotel. Hotel is good located, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good , with tasty vegetables and nice turkish pies. It is important to mention, that even it is so close to the main tram and the main touristic attractions, the place is very quiet. With extreme frendly and useful suggestions from the Owner, we had very succesful tour of Istanbul. Clean room with a lot of shugamans , slippers and bathrobe every day, helped us to file like we was at home. We highly recommend this hotel , and definitely would choose this hotel even next time in Istanbul.

Room Tip: corner rooms are bigger but noicy

My wife and myself, we decided to spend a weekend in this huge city's old town quarter, and was more than pleased with this small but cosy and family run hotel. The offered boutique accommodation was an excellent choice for our long weekend. The Owner was most friendly, warm and attentive during our visit and every little detail was taken care of with upmost care. We were extremely satisfied with her itinerary suggestions for the day -where to go , what to see.
As for the breakfast, we could not ask for more...

Besides perfectly located, the proximity to the city's main tram line facilitates easy reach to almost every attraction in the whole town at an extremely low cost (my wife was happy to spend her bucks to shopping rather than taxis!!). Having said that, most -if not all- historical sites (st sophie, blue mosque, hippodrome, st irene, tapkapı palace, archeological museum and many others) and the huge grand bazaar are walking distance!!

We will definitely stay at this hotel again, and would highly recommend it to everybody!

The staff at Hotellino are super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent location - 10 minute walk to Topaki Palace, 10 minutes to the Spice Market, 12 minutes to Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque. It's also very close to the train station and Galata Bridge/ferry docks. The only negative factor about the location is that there is construction next door and an empty lot across the street - not the most attractive looking area.

The daily breakfast was quite good but it would have been nice if there could be a bit more variety. We were there for five days so it would have been nice if a few items were rotated/changed daily.

We were pleasantly surprised with a free travel book about Istanbul on New Year's Eve and a small package of Turkish coffee at check-out.

The best hotel ever around this price.
Located close enough to the tram station (Gulhane or Sirkeci, 3-5 min on foot), ferry port for crossing Bosporus to the Asian side and Sultanahmet, probably the main touristic area.
Clean, large enough for one person (probably for two as well), free mineral water and quiet.
What more can I have? - The hospitality.
The staffs are very very friendly and nice, some may be a little bit shy at first though.
Asked me "Is everything fine?" or "Do you have any questions?" every morning and gave me many precise tips to enjoy the city fully.
Couldn't ask for more, I definitely would choose this hotel when I visited Istanbul again.

We went to Istanbul in February but found the temperatures quite comfortable. We really couldn't ask for a better location. The Old City is heavy with history and sublimely beautiful architecture. It seems like everything is within walking distance of Hotellino. We hit the pavement every day and found every place we looked for and then some. For those sites in Asia (across the Bosphorous) or farther afield, the train is about two minutes away, and the ferry is a walkable distance.

The hotel itself is well-appointed and super clean. Our room was a bit on the small side, but we took it as the price for such a great location. Otherwise, it was fine. I would gladly stay there again tomorrow.

While some were better than others, the staff were generally phenomenal. We've all had people pull out maps and circle hot spots, but the owner seemed to really take an interest in our daily itinerary. She helped us with landmarks for a train ride up the Bosphorous and long stroll back home. We had a wondeful day, and though we crafted most of it ourselves, sometimes it is the trusted nudge from a local that gets the ball rolling. She was great.

Hotellino

I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels but this was the best service I’ve received.
The owner of the hotel gave me even my transport card . The hotel is very well located next to all the highlights of İstanbul like the St.Sophia,
The Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market
I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Hotellino again

From hospitality to comfort, Hotellino Istanbul has been a mark of excellence. No criticism for the staff -- Everyone was perfect. Location is also ideal, minutes away (walking) from all tourist/historical destinations. Best hotel we've ever stayed at!
