The hotel is located on the Asian side of Istanbul. Taxi transfer from Atatürk airport takes 90 min and the bill will be ca. 80 €. Better: chose the Gökcen airport. Best: after arriving at Atatürk airport take a Taxi to Ataköy ferry. For a small money (7 TL) you will be transferred within 40 min close nearby the hotel (the remaining trip can be made by taxi).
Nearby the hotel is the intersection of two main roads. Sleeping with open window is impossible because of the noise. Unfortunately the AC in each room is very week and people who prefer to sleep in a temperature below 26°C may have a problem.
The rooms are ok and clean. They offer a bottle of water complementary each day. Minibar prices are average compared with other hotels in Istanbul. The room service is unobtrusive, but efficient. Frontdesk was friendly and quick.
The sound level of the TV is limited and once the window is open you will understand nothing.
The breakfast was nothing special, the scrambled eggs unsavory.
There is no special entertainment in the close surrounding of the hotel. Just a small Turkish restaurant close the intersection, which offers tasty food on huge metal made dishes. But one may take the cheap blue colored light buses to go to Kadiköy (just 2 TL oneway). From there you may go to the more touristic districts by ferry (just 2 TL oneway again) or just walk down the small streets nearby the harbor where you find restaurants and everything else. The trip with the light bus from hotel to Kadiköy takes 45 min, but it is definitely worth to do.
