This is a great hotel - location, amenities and service are all excellent. However, note if you book the suite as seen on the website, make sure it is the room that they give you. I had to work quite hard to convince the manager that I was not in the right room. They compensated me generously as a result, but it should not have been so difficult to get them to see their error. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

The Hotel Amira is a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we walked through the front door, we were made to feel like we were their favorite guests!! The staff is competent and go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant and hassle free as can be.
The rooms were lovey, new and extremely clean. The welcome cocktail, robe and slippers, water bottles, mini bar and Jacuzzi tub were nice amenities.
We stayed for five nights and the breakfast buffet never became monotonous. We loved the variety as there was something for everyone. The coffee is very very good. There are hot and cold items to choose from.
Thank you Arthur and fellow staff for your warm, heartfelt hospitality!

We arrived late one evening at the Istanbul airport and were greeted by the shuttle service the hotel had arranged. When we got to the hotel we were in awe the moment we walked in. The hotel is new and beautiful. We were greeted with free refreshments. Our rooms were lovely and there were so many special details like the robes, slippers, pictures and lighting.
The hotel breakfast had so much to offer. It maybe was the best breakfast offering we have ever seen. We especially liked all of the fresh fruit and dried figs.
But as much as I have to say about the design and convenience of the hotel, it is all of the staff at this hotel that makes it truly an exceptional place to stay. From the guys that help with the luggage, to the bartender, to the breakfast girl, to the extraordinary front desk staff, these people go above and beyond what is necessary to make a visit to Istanbul the best it can be. It is the ultimate in reminding me why I stay in smaller hotels, because the staff and hotel experience become part of the overall experience of the city.
After a months worth of traveling in Greece and Turkey, this hotel gets our highest marks.
Thanks to all at the hotel and keep up the good work!

We arrived at the Amira at 9:30am and we were welcomed to the hotel with refreshments on the roof top terrace and offered a complimentary breakfast. The staff at the front desk and breakfast buffet were always very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and also very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Istanbul and will gladly stay there again when I return to Istanbul. Free wi-fi in your room as well as a computer in the breakfast area.

Great Hotel, close to all and very very very clean.
Service is excellent very honest people- don't need a tour guide as they will provide you with the places to visit- dining/sight seeing, nightlife and all. If you still prefer a tour they will provide you with best tour groups.
If anybody travels to turkey IStanbul i recommend them to stay at the Amira- they will not be dissappointed.

Thanks Amira for everything!!!
