Well where do I start....this was an absolute gem of a hotel. The nice boutique style rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. From the moment, we stepped into the hotel on our arrival, the staff couldn't do enough to ensure we had an amazing holiday. They not only recommended the best sights and restaurants to visit but were also keen to help with booking reservations and transport which is really helpful when you are in unknown territory.
The location of the hotel is perfect too as it is close (walking distance) to the historical sights of the old town but not directly within the hustle and bustle. The terrace at the top of the hotel offers a bar / waiter service so you can enjoy a beverage or two whilst looking over the most amazing views of the city. Amira Hotel is the perfect haven for anyone visiting Istanbul :-)))

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and everything was perfect.
we were traveling with a 2 years baby and everyday she messed under her baby chair with eggs and ... while we were having breakfast but everyone was just smiling and telling us not to be worry about.
Ferhat was a great help to show the good spots and restaurants during our stay on the map and I have to thank all the reviewers for their good comments and the hotel staff for making our stay so pleasant.
I am giving them 10/10

My wife and I stayed 5 nights at this hotel recently, and it was a really good experience. The cultural package that we booked was tremendous value for money, and included a half day city tour and a cultural evening (including dinner and drinks) at Galata Tower. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations for food and tours (try Aloran Restaurant - it was fantastic!). Our deluxe room was spacious, tastefully decorated and always clean. The hotel's location is very good for its proximity to the main tourist sights. The roof terrace was nice, although the view (other than that of the Marmara Sea) was restricted by neighbouring buildings on higher ground. Having said that, while one can always visit other rooftop restaurants or bars (such as Seven Hills) to get a great a view, I suspect that there are few hotels which can trump the Amira in other respects. Now for a couple of minor negatives. The breakfast selection is the same every day, which can be boring by the 3rd day. Also, some of the staff tend to forget to give fundamental information when advising guests (eg it is better to walk than to take taxis in Sultanhamet and Eminonu due to intense traffic, and one should go earlier than usual to the airport due to baggage screening procedures). That said, it is easy enough to remedy these things so that Amira moves even closer to perfection!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Amira for the first part of our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived to when we left everything was perfect. The service was 10/10, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful, clean and really comfortable.

We both can't highly recommend Hotel Amira enough, the best hotel we have ever stayed. We were really sad to leave, but cannot wait to come back soon.

Thank you to everyone at hotel Amira for giving us such a memorable time.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Amira. The location is right in the center of the Sultanahmet district and within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Archeological Museum, Gran Bazar, Spice Market, Topkai Palace, etc. From the roof top deck you get a view of Old Istanbul and the Bosphorus. It is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The rooms and all of the amenities were very nice. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed 7 days at Hotel Amira and had the time of our lives. Everything has been said already in great details, so I can only agree with everyone. The Deluxe Room was spacious, quiet and very confortable, the hotel location is fantastic, and the staff is absolutely amazing! I've never seen such kind and helpful people anywhere else. They're always ready to do the best for you, at any time (even 4 am...) and they're amazingly friendly and sweet. Especially Arthur and Kamer of course, who gave us the best restaurant recommandations. It's so nice to know someone is always waiting for you at the hotel. The true highlight of our Istanbul stay!
