We recommend this small hotel in touristy Sultanahmet for its perfect location, nice and clean rooms, generous breakfast and coffee break and lovely staff (special thanks to the young woman at the reception). Backyard rooms also have a nice view on the Bosphore.

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view

This location was great right by old town and within walking distance of many historic sights. Many great restaurants within walking distance. The staff of this hotel was great and very helpful with all needs. The room had a great view of the Bosphorus. The room itself was very nice and recently renovated. They put on an amazing breakfast spread. I can honestly say I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the sea.

Me & my sister stayed at the Saba Sultan Hotel in April. The hotel is quite snug & cute & is tucked away on a small side road. It is very close to the Blue Mosque and the Sultanahmet station is nearby. The receptionist is so nice & friendly & is ready to help you & guide you. She also gives great suggestions on what to do in Istanbul. The breakfast the hotel provides is absolutely delicious! There is heaps of food to choose from. Me and my sister stayed on the fourth floor with a sea view. The voew was incredible! However, the only downside was that the ceiling was quite low & the room was a little stuffy. Also, the sheets were made to fit a double bed, and we had a king-sized. Otherwise, I liked the room. The fridge would be topped up everyday with water and a small cake and housekeeping did a great job. Also, the coffee break they provide is great. You can go down to the lobby between 14:00 and 17:00 & help yourself to food. I loved my holiday and my stay in Saba Sultan.

I travel a lot and my trip to Istanbul was one of the brightest ones! It was like an Oriental Tale.:) It is, definitely, a must-see city. The Hotel Saba Sultan is great! I'm happy I and my mom stayed there for a week. It is situated in the very historical center of Istanbul and the most important wonderful places of interest are in a 5 minutes walk distance. The hotel is very comfortable, the receptionists are professional, very welcoming and helpful. I could feel a family atmosphere thanks to the girl Tuba (a receptionist). Our room was always clean, with a great view to the Bosphorus strait. We got two bottles of water every day, tea, coffee and cakes in the room. Breakfast was very good. Besides the hotel organizes an afternoon snack in the lobby. The guests can drink tea, coffee, juice with the Turkish pastry (baklava). Every day in the magnificent Istanbul was wonderful!
