Highly recommend if you want to get away from the usual commercial 4 star hotel . Great location in the heart of the old city and 1 minute away from fabulous choice of restaurants and bars . A cash machine and many shops again a minute a away and amazing view of the blue mosque from the terrace , Each room is quite individual spacious and how I would expect a boutique style hotel to be. The staff are very helpful and all made my stay even more enjoyable . Will defiantly book again

I just came back from one week in this hotel. I tried to find our some negative aspects. There's almost non (maybe real orange juice for the breakfast :- ) ). The hotel is at a walking distance of the most importants things you need to see while in Istanbul...above all if it's your first trip there. The Blue Mosquee, AyaSofia are a less than 5 minutes - The Bazaar at 15 min max - Galata at 40 min (walking).
I recommend this one easily.

Room Tip: I had the room 305 and I would select the same next time.

Dear Marco S,

Thank you for your glowing review. You can not imagine how happy you made us with your kind words.
We are really lucky to be situated in such a perfect location and I am happy to read that you took the adventage of our faboulos location.
We are doing our best to make sure that you are having best time you can possibly have in a city, you are discovering for the first time.
We are trying to promote Classical Turkish Breakfast everymorning. We want, everything to be naturel and fresh.Unfotunatelly, there is no fresh orange in summer time.If you want, we can provide for you but that will be non-fresh. Because, they are keeping that orange in the freezer. If you need special request, we can provide for you :)

Thank you for sharing your great experience.
Thanks being the one of the best customer :)

It was all great. The room was cosy. I asked to be on the Bosphorous side but was told that would cost extra... but we didnt really need it as we just sat on the roof terrace and watched trhe sun set up there and that was great. The staff were helpful although our breakfast lady seemed to be coughing and sneezing and that made us quite uncomfortable since she had prepared our food. Noone wants the flu on their holiday! Overall, a cosy hotel in a good location.

Stayed for two nights and was very pleased. Location is great and the ocean view from our room was spectacular. There is a spacious roof terrace too that nobody was using and you can have a wine watching over the city at night. The room was a bit small but very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet is very good and the staff helpful and friendly. Only 5 min walk to blue mosque.

We stayed at Saba Sultan for three nights at the beginning of a holiday touring different areas of Turkey. Excellent location, very close (5 mins) to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia in a quiet cul de sac.Plenty of good restaurants close by. Lovely relaxing roof terrace with great views of the Blue Mosque in one direction and the Bosphorus in the other. Room was comfortable, although, as has been commented previously, there was limited storage space. Breakfast was very good with a good choice on offer. WIfi was good and reliable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Tuba, who was extremely helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room had a view over the Bosphorus and a small balcony. I think rooms with a street view are sli...

Stayed at the Saba Sultan for six nights, booked thru Expedia. Had two rooms, and a baby crib was provided for free. No problems were encountered at check-in or check-out. Its a small hotel, less than 20 rooms, more like a bed n breakfast. Rooms were comfortable, with free wifi, minibar, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, and a tiny balcony overlooking the street. On day 1, the aircon remote wasnt working, which had to be replaced. The blankets were a bit too thin. Breakfast was adequate. The choice of eggs included fried, omelet or scrambled. However, omelet and scrambled were the same - beaten fried eggs! Perhaps they should consider increasing the variety for breakfast and for the eggs!
The hotel location is excellent - literally a few minutes walk (mostly uphill) to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace and Hagia Sophia. The SultanAhmet tram station is about 10 minutes away. There is a touristy street just 2 minutes from the hotel with lots of eating options.
A special mention of the hostess Tooba, who was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. In all, a very satisfactory stay with no problems whatsoever.
