Just got back from Istanbul after a weeks stay and must say that this hotel is fantastic. The staff were more than helpful especially the guest relations girl (whose name I forget). My wife asked about jewellery shopping in the area and she not only gave good advice but also recommended a shop nearby that she'd bought from one evening during our stay. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful, the room was spotless and cleaned beautifully everyday. One minor niggle is that there is a hotel under construction next door but as we were out all day this wasn't too much of a problem. It is ideally placed in the city with everything within easy walking distance or there is a tram stop 3 minutes walk away. Finally, the Hatay restaurant right outside the front door is a must. For the first couple of days we tried other places to eat and noticed that the food seemed to be the same, only the prices varied between restaurants. This place is by far the cheapest and you get free apple tea and baklava for pudding. Would definitely stay here again.
