Djem is perfectly located small boutique hotel, a few steps away from the Blue Mosque and ancient hippodrome. Rooms are good sized and nicely decorated. Perfectly clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and that guy Ufuk was so nice during my entire stay there. He helped me so much to feel welcome. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of varieties. I recommend you this hotel for your Istanbul visit.

Well, we booked this "boutique" hotel because it had nice reviews. The location is perfect - right at the Sultanahmed Mosque. Nice area to walk around during the day and at night.

The staff was friendly. However: the room was tiny, from the window we looked right on a wall. It was noisy and loud at night. You could hear the water running from other rooms. Well, and at night we realised that our neigbor one floor higher had, I guess, swallowed an annual dose of Viagra - nice for him that he had fun (and you can't blame him for that), however the rooms in this hotel are just to clairaudient. That's more intimicy that we asked for.

We had nearly no sleep at all and left the hotel the next day exhausted. We might have been unlucky with our room and our neigbour, however we won't be back.

We stayed at this great value boutique hotel in mid November. Our room was in a separate building to the main hotel. A clean functional room with a good bathroom, comfortable bed & wireless internet.

The room was also close to the outside wall of the Blue Mosque - so you can imagine first thing early in the morning when the 'call to prayer' started.

From day two I wore ear plugs. That said most people enjoyed the lilting call. There is also double glazing.

Breakfast was in the main building & was really good.

Service & friendliness by the 2 guys who ran reception was also really good. Very helpful even if it was for something they hadn't booked.

4stars for the price, value & friendliness.
Enjoy Istanbul.

A little tough to find but worth the effort. Very comfortable, great bed and amenities, friendly and helpful staff and right around the corner from the Blue Mosque on a quiet side street. Nice breakfast. Would stay again for sure.....

Friendly staff, great breakfast, great free wifi, large comfy clean room. Hotel is located in old town very close to the Blue Mosque. All of old towns attractions are within easy walking distance. Restaurants are abundant nearby. This is really just a nice friendly boutique hotel. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Istanbul.Thank you Hotel Djem for a wonderful stay in your beautiful city.

The hotel Djem is very beautiful in every tiny detail! I'm designer and it is very important for me! Every room is decorated with very beautiful furniture and colorful textile.
Location is perfect! The hotel is situated quite near with a Blue Mosque, at very old street with wooden houses.
The breakfast is various and tasty!
Staf is very polite and friendly!

And it's so pleasant to sit at the bench before hotel in the late evening... :)

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, the hotel manager was helpful from the get go, even before we had arrived! The service is very personal and based on trust, I would've forgotten this was a hotel if it wasn't for the keycard! The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated - we were offered a free upgrade to deluxe but chose the superior room as it was cosy. Breakfast was fresh with choice of warm food. Staff were helpful but not overbearing, and management were always willing to help, even on matters beyond the
hotel. Can't stay anywhere but here next time!
