We stayed here for 5 nights in June. The hotel is very central. Close to all the attractions. Amazing views from the room. Unfortunately for Turkey, the breakfast was terrible. This was a very major point. We eventually stopped going. For a place where fruit is abundant. There were only oranges.
The rooms was not really cleaned. Beds were made just
By throwing over the duvet.
Overall. Besides the breakfast. I would recommend the it.

We have have choosen this hotel because centrally located and moderately priced and were not at all dissapointed. To begin with the location is even better than we expected. It is situated in between the principal sites and the largest market - Grand bazar within easy short walk from both.
The staff is very helpful and always ready to solve any of your problems. Rooms are not large but the breakfast veranda is always at your disposal in the evenings, you can bring your own food and drinks if you like, and if necessary for a rather small tip everything you lack will be promtly provided .
If we decide to visit Istanbul again we sure will stay sameplace. It is very friendly and comfortable.

Had a lovely view of The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The room was clean and the pricing was comparable to the hotels in the area. Additionally, there was a misunderstanding about our room which was resolved in a favourable manner by the lady at reception. Breakfast was nice too.

The staff at the Sultanahmet Park Hotel were friendly and helpful, although there are a few points travellers should be aware of. The hotel has a great location in Sultanahmet, the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are in easy walking distance as are the trams. Like any hotel of this period it suffers from things they can do little about. The lift is for two persons only and a tight squeeze. We had a room facing away from the Blue Mosque which was fine, we didn't need the views, but our local mosque was the other side of the road, and the minaret and its speakers were about 50 yards from our window. If you fancy a doze in the afternoon ( and who doesn't) you might need ear plugs. The road past the hotel is one of the busiest cross town traffic routes in this part of the city and is in constant use. Turkish drivers like their horns, and are not afraid of using them, at any hour of the day our night. The hotel can do nothing about this, it's not their fault but is something to be aware of. Breakfast was included in our deal, and is on a self service basis. For just a little outlay it could be so much better. What passed for orange juice, was more an orange drink, and several other guests mentioned this to us. It would be useful to have some description available to non Turkish speaking visitors of what the dishes were. No problems with breads or jams, but what were some of those things in dishes, and the dark pink meat that looked like spam...what was that? If you want a beer ion the hotel it's going to cost you, 10 Tlr for a small tin of Efes local beer. There are a couple of supermarkets near by where you can stock up on soft drinks, beer and snacks at much much lower prices. The hotel offers breakfast next to its very small garden. The photos on its website of this area are several years old, and whilst the garden is OK sitting out there is not a real pleasure....it should be!
The hotel arranged an airport transfer for us, and several taxis. All were fine.
Tuba is lovely, but she speaks the best English of any of the staff. Smoking in the garden area is a constant occupation for the younger members of staff, and at times I did ask myself what they all contributed to the running of the hotel.
Finally the bill was mostly in Turkish, and I had to use google to find out what Aciklama and Borc mean (although I am still unsure).

Room Tip: The rooms at the front will be far noisier than those at the back of the hotel

My husband and I plus a friend went there in April which is the best time of the year, not to hot/cold. Lovely hotel with very helpful staff that speak English. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with on suite. The view from our window was priceless as it was overlooking the Blue Mosque. The breakfast is self serve and very good. This hotel is a very good choice as it is in the heart of Sultanahmet (Istanbul). It is within walking distance to all the main attractions and the tramway. Our thanks toTuba hanim, Ugur bey, Ali bey and Aziz bey for making our stay pleasant. I recommend this hotel for good service and accessibility. Istanbul is a magical place that is very busy and full of life but is hilly and uneven pavements but once inside the hotel you feel safe and secure.

Room Tip: Room 502 was overlooking the Blue Mosque.

I went to Istanbul last month with my family. Staff was very nice! Tuba and the others made all seemed like a real family...breakfast was a little bit poor but good, you can try Turkish tastes with those dishes. The room was too small but pretty!
I suggest you to put your hearphones on because you could be waken badly because of Turkish prays' announcements.
