Such a great place to shop. Really high quality products, no haggling and very relaxing. We bought many things here including beautiful turkish towels, jewelry and my favorite ceramic whirling dervish! Every item is a little treasure. You may pay a little more, but we shopped extensively in Istanbul, and the quality of things is much nicer here. Not to mention no one shouting out or hassling you to enter their shops. Not overwhelming like the Grand Bazaar which is an experience within itself. It is located right behind the blue mosque.

This is the first bazaar I stepped in in Istanbul as it was the closest to where I stayed. I later found out that Arasta Bazaar is quite cosy and easy to shop. No hassle like other bazaars and prices were reasonable considering the fact is that it is just around the corner from Blue Mosque. There are three open cafés to kill a time or recharge energy.

If you have an extra time, it is recommendable to visit Mosaic Museum.

The bazar has various shops worth looking at, either shopping or windowshopping. Several cafeterias where you can relax and watch people soming and going.
The entrance and exit of the Mosaic Museum is just around the corner and well worth a visit.
The bazaar is situated just behind the Blue Mosque and not far from Topkapi Palace entrance.

We really enjoyed Arasta Bazaar, where it's possible to find a wide range of oh-so-Turkish stalls. Amongst the favourites were the tea and spice vendor's oil perfumes (Tulip ... bliss) and a delightful gallery where the jeweller designs and hand-makes all the pieces for sale.
The Mosaic Museum is located here and, at one end, there's a lovely cafe where you can sip apple tea in the high-backed wicker love seats.
