“Great service and location”

We loved our stay. The staff were very helpful in planning outings, giving advice and making little extra items for breakfast. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were large, clean and functional. Lastly the location near the Hagia Sofia was perfect.

Pros - 1) perfect location, 2) great breakfast, 3) nice space on street to sit and people-watch, 4) good service, 5) relatively spacious rooms, 6) family suites allowed children to sleep in separate room with a connection to parents' room.
Cons - 1) a bit pricey for what you get, 2) rooms are not technically suites (they do not have separate living areas), 3) bathrooms had very little surface area to put things (we found ourselves storing things on the floor) and too few racks for towels, 4) modern style is a bit charmless.

what a lovely, charming hotel (and people) this is...7 rooms, in a really pleasant cobbled street, right by Sultanhammet (Blue Mosque), fulls of bars, small shops (and a place for me to watch the opening football World Cup game!)...the hotel is very comfortable with delicious breakfast, small car, nice outdoor seating and the people...well just fab! we booked and stayed one night at the beginning of a cruise (very convenient for the Karakoy Yolcu departure port for Windstar) and they kindly allowed us to leave our bags with them for the day, a week later when we disembarked and had all day before the plane left. Poss. only downside comment was that they include the arrival airport transfer in the room rate...if you dont want to hang around with Turkish inefficiency, you might just jump in a cab and pay for it...only 50TL. Istanbul is an expensive city so at €200 this was a good price (incl bfast)...and traffic is crazy! do not stay up at the Ciragan side of the Asian side and get a cab to say The Blue Mosque...take you forever! (get the tram)

Room Tip: we had the ground floor room, although i am sure they are all very good

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location was fantastic and close to many of Istanbul's attractions. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and quiet. The service was excellent, and English speaking personnel helped to organize tours and show us the way to attractions. Best of all the beds were king-size, and very comfortable, which is great for tall people like us. Not many hotels have king sized beds. The hotel is found in a street full of restaurants, which is very handy. We will definitely stay here again.

our first trip to turkey and we didn't know what to expect. received a warm welcome from alper who took the time to explain where we were in relation to all of the big sites (easy walking distance).
he was able to arrange a couple of tours for us and set us up with a guide for one day to do the mosque, the museum, and the palace which was great because you get to cut all the lines.
the breakfast was great, the room was a decent size and clean and the service was first class.
a great place to stay

Our three children are young enough that we want to have them close by. Millennium Suites offered us a pair of connecting rooms that worked perfectly: a room with a large bed for us, connecting to a room with two beds and a pull-out for our three kids. We also appreciated being so close to the major sites in Sultanahmet that our kids could easily walk to all the sites we wanted to see.

Beyond the physical aspects of the hotel, Alper and his staff did an outstanding job making us feel welcome. We'd happily stay there again.

So, we thought, how does a hotel with only seven rooms get to be number three (it’s fluctuated between five when we booked it a couple of months back and its current position of three) of 896 hotels in Istanbul. Simply by giving outstanding service to everyone who stays there. We were welcomed by Alper and team with a cold beer on a hot afternoon – a great start! We chatted about Istanbul and Turkish politics, which filled in a few gaps for us. Then up to the room – no 201 at the back with the terrace – just lovely! Beautifully furnished, fresh flowers, free minibar and with all the toiletries you could wish for – what other hotel gives you eye make up remover wipes?!? Every day, we came back weary from our sightseeing to a clean room and a bed strewn with rose petals. While we were out there, it was my birthday and the staff arranged a surprise cake for me. The location is superb - along a vibrant street, within five minutes of the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. We really cannot fault the hotel and would like to thank Alper and his staff for making us so welcome. We were absolutely blown away by Istanbul as a whole and our stay at the Millennium Suites helped to make our trip a truly memorable time. Laura and Jason Taylor

Room Tip: Room 201 is at the back with a small private terrace
