Just checked out from this hotel.

The hotel is everything you could have asked for. Beautiful, clean & spacious room. Amenities in the room are great (love the bar soap!). Strategically located within minutes walk to all the major attractions; Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and also great restaurants. Staffs are very helpful and attentive to you needs!

Will book this hotel again on my next trip to Istanbul without a doubt.

So, don't just take my word for it. Go and experience the great hospitality at Esans Hotel. You definitely won't regret it!

Useful tip: Book the hotel earliest possible as they only have 08 rooms and it is usually fully booked most of the time!

We had a very pleasant stay in this lovely hotel. The staff is extremely helpful, the rooms are
spacious and very beautiful. We had a beautiful view over Marmara Sea from our room and could even take our first breakfast on the roof terrasse. Newly renovated, very charming, very clean. Very close to Topkapi and Aya Sofya. I would stay there again and will recommend this hotel to my friends!

Great, cute hotel in a fabulous part of Sultanamet. Only steps away from the coolest strip of restaurants and bars. The rooms are small yet super comfortable, excellent breakfast and great staff!

We spent 5 nights in this comfortable, if quirkly decorated hotel in the quiet part of Sultanahmet. The staff were helpful and friendly and our top floor room and the roof terrace had glorious views of the lower Bosphorous where it enters the Sea of Marmara and the Princes Islands.
Esans Hotel is located just minutes walk from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand & Spice Bazaars. The inexpensive tram and ferry services are great for days out, away from the most popular attractions. Many of the best rated restaurants are also just a stroll away.
Some reviewers have mentioned nocturnal disturbances coming from other guest rooms. We did too, but a quick call to the night desk had the right result.
The room rates are excellent value considering the ideal location.

Charming small B&B hotel with an interesting history very close to Topkapi, so well located for the main tourist attractions in the old city; amazingly quiet at night for a central location; breakfast buffet excellent; staff helpful, courteous and above all else enthusiastic about their work, the hotel and Istanbul. It was a real pleasure staying at this hotel. Ideal for a long weekend.

Room Tip: Standard rooms - some (but not all) are smallish but well equipped and full of character, superior r...

A charming family run hotel, with very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are small, but clean and calm, and the roof terrace offers a nice sea view. A fabulous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start into the day! The hotel is located in walking distance to most important sites and close to a trendy city area.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Istanbul.
Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to stay at Esans Hotel and this proved to very good choice. Shortly after booking our stay, I received a kind email from Engin and he arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport. Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed and all staff members went out of their way to assist us during our stay. A good example was on our final day, we needed to leave the hotel at 6am in order to catch our flight. A taxi was organised for us and a very early breakfast was arranged for us.

The hotel is located in the heart of the historical city centre, just 300 metres from Tipoki palace and Sultanahmet square and maybe 600 metres from the blue mosque while a short ten minute walk will take you to the sea front where you can enjoy a stroll along the sea of Marmara/Bosphorus shore. It is a modest sized hotel with 7 or 8 rooms that are beautifully arranged and each has it's own unique sense/smell which adds to the charm. The roof terrace offers some wonderful views.

The only negatives may be the timber floors which means you can hear some noise from the room above you and the call to prayer which goes out at 5am. None of this bothered my wife or I and as outlined in previous posts, the hotel offers ear plugs to their guests. For us, this all added to the charm of what is a real and authentic Turkish experience right in the heart of historic Istanbul.

My wife and I travel a lot but this was one of those few ocassions when we were sad to leave what was truly a great holiday.
