I was extremely pleased with this hotel! We (me and a friend) went to Istanbul for a few days and we needed a decent hotel, without too much amenities that we weren't going to use anyway. We found this hotel via Tripadvisor and were not disappointed!

The staff is very friendly and has been very helpful when we needed assistance or directions. The rooms were bigger than I had anticipated (since the normal hotel rooms in that area are very small) are kept very clean. There is a terrace on the top floor which provided some shade in the evening (which was welcome after a hot day), but it is very small and does not have the best view. The breakfast area isn't big either, but the food itself is nice. There is free (and fast) Wifi, air-conditioning, a safe in the rooms, mini-fridge and a reasonably big shower and our room (suite) had a larger fridge and a sink with some cupboards.

The hotel is centrally located at about 5-10 minutes (by foot) from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. You can easily get to the main tourist areas from this location by foot. There are also some shops, supermarkets and restaurants/cafés close by. Lastly, there is a tram stop nearby which can take you to the ferry stops and further into the city. The hotel offers shuttle services to and from the airports, which I recommend because it is a long way by foot (and taxi drivers are not all honest there).

To sum up: friendly staff, excellent service, centrally located and good quality for the price!

Room Tip: We had two rooms: we booked the twin room and later we were offered the penthouse suite (without ext...

They held our bags when we arrived early in the morning. The room was ready early, clean and tidy. We left things in our room (ipad etc) which remained safe. The location is absolutely fantastic, so close to Sultanahmat and sites. The Manager unfortunately slept on the couch in entry area each morning but was helpful when awake. The other workers there were friendly and helpful and made up for his sleeping there in the morning. A shame as such a nice hotel. The breakfast is great. Free tea coffee, hot choc all day and night. Definitely worth a stay

From the moment we met the staff ,at this extremely well located hotel, we felt welcomed and well informed of what we should consider doing during our stay. We were escorted to bedrooms that were clean and spacious. All together, staff service, breakfast, and location make the cost of our rooms an excellent value. Roger Orton

We had booked 3 rooms there. When we reached there , we realized its a small hotel with rooms situated at different levels. One of the rooms was at the ground floor which was right next to the breakfast room. Our friends who got this room were woken up early morning due to the din in the breakfast rooms. However the staff was helpful and gave them another room at the annex which was across the street which we were told was very comfortable.
We got the so called suite. The ceilings were slanting and very low . Every time we had to use the washroom we had to bend. My poor husband bumped his head twice .

The breakfast spread is very limited. But enough to fill up to start your day.

On the brighter side the hotel is very centrally located ,perfect to travel in Istanbul. It is right next to the blue mosque and very close to Hagia Sophia , Grand Bazaar etc.The staff is friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms which are situated from 2nd floor and above.

i have been to istanbul so many times and i have tried different hotels.. by far this is one of the best affordable hotel i have been to. it is new and clean. bed sheets and bathroom were clean, airco was excellent... all was modern and pleasantly organized. the room size is very good in comparison to other hotels in taksim that i have used before. the staff was very helpful, i arrived around 3 am they were still up and assisted me wonderfully. breakfast is not bad either. the location of the hotel is very good, it is a very short distance from sultan ahmet and aya sofia area where you can hop in sightseeing buses around istanbul.

from the airport, you can hop in a cab it is cheaper than the shuttle to the hotel.
before my departure i already booked a room for my mum who is going later in july to istanbul because i wanted her to have a good experience as i did..
