We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of November. Location wise it is excellent for all atrtactions and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The downside was that we had booked the economy rooms which was a BIG mistake - they are in the basement with no window and next door to the kitchen so every morning we were woken by the clattering of plates etc at 6 am! When you had a shower water appeared outside of the shower in the middle of the floor - coming from underneath? I must agree with a previous review that the beds were extremely hard, not very comfortable at all. I did ask for some blankets that I could put under the bed sheet and they duely obliged but unfortunately they were not soft blankets but more like hard tablecloths! However, at least they tried to help. The breakfast selection was good and I must say the tea was the best I have had abroad in a long while!
Maybe if we hadn't gone fro the economy rooms our stay would have been better.

Room Tip: Do not go for the economy rooms you end up in the basement with no natural light

We only stayed at Sultan House 1 night, the location was great, it's right around the corner from Sultanahmet Square. Our room could have been a better size but confusingly it had 3 beds (for 2 people) which cramped the space. Our bathroom was also extremely small, and missing light fixtures, and unclean. The hosts were helpful and friendly during our visit, but were not responsive to my emails prior to our departure, which was frustrating. I would have chosen 2 stars but decided to give them an additional star because they allowed us to check in earlier than expected, and also upgraded us to a larger room (even though it was very cramped).

Very good quality of service (breakfast, clean, quiet). It is near to all known and touristic places.
My room was on a street but without noise. The convenient thing is that if you want to see all known and touristic places they are only a 5 minutes walk away.
The accommodations were very good! The bed was very good and clean, and the whole decoration was very traditional.
Being very close to all known places where thousands of touristists visit I was impressed with the quietness.
The hotel's employees made me feel really comfortable in the hotel as well as in the city (they gave us maps and told us how to navigate ourselves in the city).
I highly recommend the hotel for visitors.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights in October 2012 and we had a really great experience.
First of all the owners are very welcoming and you really feel like you are at home. Rooms were nice and extremely clean and buffet breakfast in the morning was nice. The position is excellent to visit the most important sites, just 2 minutes from the Blue Mosque.
On top of that Younis family love kids and they offered to babysit our six months daughter Noemi who loved all the attention, and allowed us to have romantic dinner out and go to the hammam.
Hope we can be back soon!
