“Excellent location, poor rooms”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

Biggest advantage of the hotel is its excellent location. Room was avarage, it was situated on the ground floor, close to the reception, which affected the sleeping quality (lot of noise even at night). Room was humid, ventilation was not solved. Bathroom was rather poor, had the same problems as the room. Service at the hotel was fine, breakfast was tasty and rich. Hotel is suitable for couples spending there a few days, if you want to stick to low budget.

The first room they gave us was absolutely terrible, in the basement, overlooking a wall. Not to talk about how old and rusty everything was inside, dirty, with a lot of moist in the room. We changed rooms and the second room was a little better, but again dirty, overlooking a wall, moist, and close to the reception with constant noise. The towels they were giving us were always moist, and there were no wall-hangers (whatsoever) in the bathroom (or anywhere in the room), so we had to hang them (and dry them) on clothes-hangers!

Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but descent. But when one day at the end of breakfast we saw the guy ("responsible" for refills) how he was touching the food with his bare hands in order to store it for the next day (!), we gave up on breakfast in the hotel and ate outside.

I would definitely not come back there...

Stayed here for 10 nights in February. On our first night we were put in a room which wasn't even in the hotel but around the corner in an apartment type building. The room had a funny smell & was absolutely freezing cold- discovered in the morning that this was because there was no window, just a net curtain covering where the window should have been.. Requested to get moved & we were put in a room inside the hotel this time, this room was much better but the hotel over all could do with some improvements. Breakfast was good, buffet style with a variety of cereal, bread, cheese, veg, ect. Rooms cleaned to a high standard every day. Location close to Blue Mosk ect but you have to climb a pretty steep hill to get to the main attractions which is okay for young people but wouldn't recommend it to older people or unfit people.. Would say this hotel is pretty basic & suitable for people who are not very fussy
