“Fantastic Service and Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in all my travels in terms of service, cleanliness, and professionalism. At Hotel Levni we felt appreciated every morning we got up. The staff continually went out of their way to help us, and make sure we enjoyed our stay. The even picked up that it was my partners birthday and left some presents for her when we got back one evening.

The location is perfectly located close to most of the major sites, and the metro station.

Breakfasts had a lot of variety and the food was fresh and great quality. Subtle variations to breakfasts were made each day to keep it interesting. Thank you Levni staff for making our trip to Istanbul so special!

I was in the hotel for 9 nights 5-14 May. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had to fix a meeting with a Turkish dealer who doesn't speak English. The guys in the reception were in great help they spoke to the guy and go out of there ways to help me out, also the restaurant staff are just brilliant, correct and efficiant.Rooms are clean, the only thing I didn't like is that when we choose to stay in the room the whole day, the reception guy would call us by politess to ask if we need the room to be cleaned because the cleaning finish around 02:00 pm. I would prefer to leave us alone. Yet it is much better than many other hotels. Also one day we put a towel on the floor -to be changed-which was dirty and we found it when we returned folded dirty ready to be reused! That wasn't acceptable at all.

We stayed at the Levni three times during May 2014, and had an excellent experience each time.
The first visit was a perfect example of making lemonade out of lemons. We checked in after more than 24 hours of travel from the U.S., with four night prepaid voucher in hand, only to be told there was no room available for the first two nights as the people occupying the room we were supposed to have had not vacated due to illness. What could have been a disaster was handled with great aplomb by Kadir Erdem, the Reception Supervisor. He had already booked us into the Doubletree for two nights and had a cab ready to take us there. He informed us that as compensation for the inconvenience, we would be upgraded to a suite when we returned to the Levni. In addition, the hotel would pay for our private car to and from the airport as well as a full day private guided tour of Istanbul, a dinner at the hotel restaurant and a visit to the spa. When we returned to the Levni after our two nights at the Doubletree, we did in fact receive a spacious suite with a view of the Bosphorus.
We returned to the Levni a second time in mid May as part of a group tour. This room was a standard one in the hotel annex, and although small with no view, it was well appointed with a modern, sparkling bathroom. Our third visit was a one night stay at the end of our Turkey trip when we were again upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the Bosphorus.
The Levni is within easy walking distance of the major tourist sites - Topkapi, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, as well as several excellent restaurants. All three rooms we stayed in were upscale with modern, clean baths. The rooms in the annex are smaller with street views. If possible, I would definitely opt for an upgraded room with views of the Bosphorus. The courtesy and professional demeanor of the staff is superb.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a room with a view of the Bosphorus.

This being our first visit to Istanbul, I wanted somewhere in the old town, close to the major sights with a pool and good value for our four night stay. Having narrowed down a shortlist, I found British Airways had a great value flight+hotel deal with Levni so I opted for them. We were not disappointed.

Firstly it's in a great location, 5-10 minutes walk from all the things we wanted to do and with very good transport links to everywhere else. Secondly, the hotel itself looked very new and smart and the room pretty well appointed. Thirdly the service was very good and the staff were very attentive. We only ever ate breakfasts there and the choice was pretty good with lots of fresh fruit and hot food to choose from. Fourth, the spa provided a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing with a pool, sauna and hammam, all free for guests to use.

We did have a few niggles over our stay: the plug in our sink didn't work and was never repaired despite mentioning it early on and once being woken at 4.15 by some industrial noise outside our first floor window. And we had some confusion about the private tour they suggested we book (we had to pay 425TL in cash for it which was very inconvenient; and we were not sure if it included entry tickets and lunch or not) but when we raised this they were eager to rectify the situation and make sure nothing got in the way of us enjoying ourselves.

All in all, very good service and a well run hotel which we would happily go back to.

This hotel is well located with a 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Cistern, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. It is also a 5 minute walk to a Tram Stop which will take you to Galeta Tower area and beyond.

The staff were nice and we arrived early after an overnight flight and were offered a coffee while the room was being prepared. The room we had was quiet and had a lovely big bathroom. We were in room 1104.

The buffet breakfast was nice and extensive. The only negative, which isn't much at all, was that the staff seemed to struggle a bit at breakfast when the hotel was busy and this was reflected in the service. Having said that though, I would stay again and recommend the hotel.

Right in the heart of the Old City and two blocks from the Grand Bazaar , this charming boutique hotel has it all. We spent five nights there the first week of June 2014. The less expensive rooms tend to be small but very comfortable. Great service, awesome breakfast, amazing location, terrific pool and spa services all add up to a very special hotel.

Room Tip: Our first night we were put in an extremely small room. Very uncomfortable for my tall husband. They...

My husband and I spent 4 fabulous days at the Levni Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel was clean, safe was and central to everything.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, Aykut, the Guest Relations Manager was outstanding in making sure our stay perfect.

We had the best night on the "Bosphorus Orient" dinner cruise, which was the suggestion of the staff at the hotel. You will love it.

Thank you Levni Hotel for employing professional and friendly staff.
