“Great location, very friendly staff”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

We really enjoyed our four-nights stay at the Rose Garden. The staff and manager were extremely helpful with giving directions. A 24-hour tea, coffee and cake service is available in the garden.
The hotel is in central location with just 5-8 mins walk from the Blue Mosque.
Highly recommended!

This was ideal for our 3 nights in Istanbul. Rooms with a Turkish feel and ours overlooked the delightful patio garden. Walking distance to all the sites plus great restaurants in the vicinity as well. Really friendly staff who can help you plan where to go. Complimentary wine, coffee, tea and juice in the foyer/patio area, made our departure day a pleasant rest.

Just got back from a lovely stay at this hotel in the heart of the old city of Istanbul. I visited with my older mum and we requested twin beds - when we arrived we found that the staff had upgraded us to a suite and had put an extra bed in the room in order to make it a twin. We then went on a 4 day trip with a local tour company and returned to Istanbul for our last night in Turkey, we stayed in a different room, again it was very nice and there was bottled water and a fruit bowl waiting in our room for us. Very relaxing, welcoming, great breakfast, a lounge/lobby area with complimentary cake, coffee and juice, free wifi and very helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Istanbul. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Bazaar, Blue Mosque. Perfect. Thank you, Kate.

What a gem this place is! Lovely welcome, friendly staff who respond quickly to requests. Nice clean rooms with great decor. Great little touches in the rooms, including complimentary toiletries, slippers, bath robes, fresh towels daily, mini bar and wine on arrival.

Excellent location for Sultanahmet and close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar and restaurants.

Make sure you take comfy walking shoes as I had to buy some there - you will be doing lots of walking!

I will recommend this hotel to everyone who can afford it and if you cannot afford it you may save for the experience. We spend our Wedding NIght in The Rose Garden Suites. It was the best decission we could made. The rooms are fantastic. The hotel was full but the director and owner made an effort to accomodate us, so we stay in 3 different rooms. That's whay I can speak about rooms. They were all fantastic with tasty furniture. We specially love the Hamman Bathroom with beatiful marble. The hotel staff is amazing from Bora to Mehmet the Night Manager who did everything to help us. It was like our family and refuge in Istambul. The breakfast is very good. It is so close to Hagya Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It is the best place we could dream of. They made every effort to make our Honey Moon like a dream. We are so grateful to all the staff and managemente. The only thing is that the hotel is always almost full so you have to plan ahead, but you will be so happy about it.

Room Tip: Room 205 is my favourite, but there all very, very good

This place was the best your money can get and the staff were amazing and ever so helpful. Mehmet was the night manger there and he was a diamond and so helpful. This hotel relaxes you as the rooms are immaculate and clean. I got the executive room and my wife really enjoyed it. This hotel is a traditional hotel and the best in this area. All the attractions are within a short walk too and when you want to remove yourself from the hustle bustle of a busy city come to Rose Garden Hotel. Honestly I felt like I was at home and the friendly staff made sure I left safely and ordered me a cab and Mehmet even spoke to the cab driver to make sure I do not get ripped off. By the way taxi fare is 45-50TL to Atarturk airport and it's 25 min drive. I will definitely go back to this hotel. When you walk around the area you soon realise every little crooks and crannies there are hotels and some like disgusting or even shady like hostels so this made me think I definitely got the best hotel and it's a four star too!
