Recently stayed at the Daphne Inn for 2 nights, and were not overjoyed with the hotel. We paid 50 euros per night, so weren't expecting anything special, but this was not a 'hotel'. When we arrived we found a note on the front door to the hotel saying that the owner was out, and there was a mobile number for us to call. This did not work! After about 20 mins the owner turned up and told us our room would not be ready until 1pm. He assured us that we would have the best room in the hotel. There are only 4 rooms in the hotel, we had the top floor, with a very small balcony, but the wooden sah windows and door did nothin at all to sound proof the room from the busy street below. infact there was a 1 inch gap under the door leading to the balcony. The room was clean enough, random ikea furniture mixed in with a pretty filthy turkish rug and two single beds pushed together. The bathroom had a very leaky shower and cheap fittings. We were given bedding and towels, but one of the towels had a giant hole in it.
This is definately more of a private room hostel. We have stayed in hostels before as well as 5* places, and this served it's purpose as a very conveniently located place to stay (very close to Blue Mosque), had good air con, we had a TV (only turkish channels), and free wi-fi if you get a code from the owner. An ok place to stay, but the set-up is very strange and we took all our valuables out with us as the room had a simple key lock to it.
If you can get this place at a good price, the location is worth it, although there were planty of other nice looking b and b's and hostels in the same street.
