We stayed at Minel hotel this month and very happy with our time here. Hotel room is very small but clean. And we love the central location as it is within minutes walking to train station and most sights.

Minel Hotel staff provide excellent customer services and tour information. The room was modern, clean, quiet, cosy, comfortable with a garden view and awesome daily continental breakfast. (Thanks and appreciation to you all).

Location is central within easy minutes walk to most sight seeing places, the tram, hop-on-off-bus, restaurants and travel agencies, shops, supermarket, etc.

Everyone, including the natives is warm, friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Daily Tours who were also knowlegeable, helpful and professional, including tour guide Dilek Celik and Marmara from Canter.

Highly recommended place for active individual travellers and families with kids!
Istanbul is a great city and it is a double pleasure to explore it when you stay in such a wonderful place.
Hotel is very nice, modern, good looking, nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. Rooms are small but have everything you need from hair dryer to flat screen TV. Rooms have very comfortable spacy shower cabins with rainforest shower.
We had a room for 3 people and actually, being divided by cases, second bed seemed to be in a separate second room. That’s a great choice when you travel with a child, want some privacy for him and not ready to run out of budget.
Location just could not be better. Hotel is right across Gulhane park entrance, hidden on a quiet little street. The place is not so overcrowded as Sultanhamet and is just 5 minute walk from Aya Sofia. Tram station is very close, so you can reach everything you want. Galata bridge is about 10-15 minute walk distance by very pleasant streets. Hotel is surrounded by cafés open till late.
And with all those pluses, what makes Minel hotel really special- is personnel. I want to thank everybody for being so hospitable and attentive! And special thanks to Metin, who comes every breakfast to you, asks about you day plans, gives recommendations and advices. You made our stay very special.
It is such a pleasure when you are met by smiling faces in the morning and welcomed by fresh tea at night, when you return tired and full of emotions. Probably that’s why guests often sit outside the hotel, chatting with each other and nobody wants to go home.
Highly recommend Minel if you want a special experience!
Ps. The bed has lights under it )), so the place would be a reflect for romantic getaway as well.

We were in the hotel 2 days and we loved it. The hotel is new, very nice and cosy. The hotel rooms are small, but the situation of the hotel -very centric but in a quiet street- and the breakfast buffet -very complet- makes it an absolutely recomendable hotel in Istambul. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
