The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and with a friendly interior design. The hotel was a bit hard to find but defenitely worth the stay. You get a lot for your money of which you could only dream of at other places. Defenitely recommending!

It was my 3th time at Istanbul and Minel Hotel is always a good option! It was closed last 2 weeks but now it is opening again and good as before. Friendly staff, calm silent street, perfect location, I could go by 5 minuts walking to the main turistic points of Sultanamed.

Very small room, we almost don´t have space to open our lugagge, but very clean, very nice staff, simple breakfast.
The tram only stops at midnight so if you want to sleep before that for me was difficult.

Stayed at the Minel in September 2012. Staff is helpful but not overly friendly. Rooms are clean but there are lots of small details that need attention like broken hooks in the bathroom so no place to hang anything, head board broken away from wall.... and worst of all, blood on my white comforter....more than from a small cut on the hand or such. Kind of sickening. Pulled a huge hair out of the breakfast plate of olives the next morning. Again, kind of gross. Location is good, just behind Haghia Sophia, kind of on an alley but perfectly safe.

Minel hotel is located in the middle of Sultanahmet, meaning you have quite a lot of things to see at hand. The hotel is very clean and stylish. The staff is amazing and makes you feel very comfortable. Very good breakfast.
Maybe the room was a bit too small, but I could totally live with that. Reccommanded!
