“No need to look further”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2012

Location is important, especially in Istanbul. You will learn very quickly that if it's not walking distance from a tram stop, it's not worth going. And tram stops are close to all the major sites. This hotel is close to two tram stops. 5-10 min. walk to Tokapi, Haggia Soffia and Blue Mosque. From there, two tram stops to Grand Bazaar, two stops to Bosphorus ferry and spice market. All the top rated TA restaurants are within 5min. walk. Stay 3 nights and your airport transfer is included. Combined that with a clean and spacious room with a powerful shower head, a friendly staff to cater to your every need, a roof terrace for you to enjoy the view and sunset with a free glass of wine, fantastic breakfast and free tapas all afternoon, what more do you need?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Neorion Hotel. We were treated like celebrities and their service and facilities were outstanding. The staff went out of their way to assist in every possible way.The breakfast, mezze and rooftop sunsets were unbelievable. The room was very neat and comfortable. The swimming pool and spa added to our enjoyment. We will definitely recommend anybody to stay there.

Thsi is not a 5 Star luxury hotel, and if that's what you want then head to the Kempinski Ciragan Palace. This is a small tourist hotel in a very convenient location for the old town and the Grand Bazaar. What makes it stand out is the attention to detail in the service, and care, the extra touches that made the day we spent here one of the most pleasurable hotel experiences I can remember. Reception is small, but that really doesn't matter as you will be sat down with a glass of something and offered Turkish delight while they check you in. Unless of course it is between 1pm and 7pm which is Mezze Hour and there are snacks and gorgeous little things awaiting your delectation in the lobby. When the Mezze stops the rooftop sunset drinks begin. The staff could not have been more helpful in organising a tour guide, and anything else we needed. Free wifi throughout was good as well. So I recommend this hotel completely. The rooms are not brilliant, but they are very modern and clean. The magic of this hotel is in its staff, and I will certainly be staying again and saving 500 Euros a night on the cost of a Bosphorous hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back are quiet but look out on a wall, the front rooms have a nicer view but have...

Beautiful and brand new, this hotel is great. In the five nights we stayed here, they seemed to know us and want to help us. Upon arrival, the guest relations person sat down w us while our room was being prepared. She went over the map and filled up the rest of our day with things to do. Sunset on the roof was spectacular. Breakfast included was ok. About a 20 min walk to bazaar. 15 min walk to almost everything else

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The customer service was amazing, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, rooms were spotless and modern, and all with great amenities - free mezas (appetizers) from 1-7, free glass of wine each evening on top of their roof top deck with panoramic city views, a beautiful, clean hamman free of charge with stay. We also got a massage with their massage therapist who was very skilled. This hotel is in a great location - within walking distance to grand bazaar, spice market, hagia sofia. Also, right on the trolley line in case you want to go other places in the city. We were also given boxes of turkish delights upon our departure. When in Istanbul, stay here!

This hotel takes a nice property to the next level with going the extra mile for their guests. The breakfast and lunch were both so tasty and set out for you to enjoy whenever it worked best for you. The rooftop sunset wine was a great way to take in Istanbul on our first night. The rooms were very nice. We had reserved a smaller room on the internet, they were so concerned we were going to be unhappy with the size. It was perfect for both of us and had a lot of character. The owner also has a letter with his contact information in the event you are unhappy with anything, I thought that was a nice touch:) You can walk to most of the major sites in old town making the location great for touring. I would stay here again without question.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper ask for a room off the main road

What else can we say. All posts regarding this hotel proved correct. An excellent and central location. Very modern and up to date fittings. A lovely aspect from the terrace and complimentary drinks at sunset set the mood for the evening. A very comprehensive buffet breakfast was supplemented by a small but adequate choice of food throughout the afternoon. Elvan was a delight to meet, and very helpful with her knowledge and advice. Rooms off the main street were very quiet.
