This hotel is actually a scam. The photos must be altered. The entry is a florescent lit, poster covered, filthy white carpet - clad horror and the night staff seemed completely off on another planet. The gentleman who worked the Sunday am was helpful but nothing to make up for the bizarre experience that had already been had.
We stayed one night flying through after previously staying in the city at the Portus House (great!). We arrived late to this awful entry, past a facade that looked nothing like the photographs - barely recognizable. After a while waiting as the night staff looked through (seemingly) all of the keys in the front desk, we were led out of the building to the alley up the street to a metal doored apartment building, up florescent lit stairs where, to the right, a giant poster covered construction or a storage area or something. We got to a room on the first floor where we could hear everything happening in the area for blocks including locals singing and talking (the neighborhood was just a local residential area far from the sites by comparison to what the hotel describes). The room had marks all over the floor with a filthy space carpet - again (once) white with stains covering it - the bathroom was fine. The furnishings were ikea copies and functioned but they were stuffed in this small space and looked NOTHING like...This hotel is actually a scam. The photos must be altered. This place is NO WHERE near worth over $15 a night and is seriously scamming travelers paying the outrageous fee to stay there. I wouldn't even keep it on the site if I were Booking - not a chance.More
