We've just returned from a mini break staying in this lovely, friendly, clean hotel ideally situated within 5 mins walking of the Blue Mosque. The reception staff are knowledgable and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and they especially like to practice their language skills. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 5 days from 19-24 November and had a wonderful time. The hotel is in a great location for all the major sights but is in a quiet street with little noise. Our room was very nice with a lovely en-suite - super towels and bathrobes and nice toiletries. The bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows and covers stored under the bed. The staff could not have been more helpful. The standard of cleanliness was extremely high. A buffet breakfast (included in price) was good with a selection of fruits, eggs, olives, meat, bread etc. My only (tiny) regret was that there was orange squash and not pure orange juice. Other than that I can fully recommend this hotel - it was great value for money and I would certainly stay there again.

This is a nice and spick and span place, very central, yet in a quiet by-lane of the old city. Staff went out of their way to make this a very good stay. Very tasty breakfast buffet. Only letdown: Room a bit small ...

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in November. The staff were friendly, approachable and exceptionally polite and helpful. Our room was absolutely spotless, very comfortable, nicely decorated and the en suite bathroom was much bigger than I was expecting. I would recommend the location for a short trip because it was close to the sights in the old quarter, and easy to get to other parts of the city, but actually on a very quiet street. I don't think you could get better than this hotel, for the price. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights 15-18 November. Rooms small but functional and spotlessly clean ( rooms are cleaned daily). Hotel is very conveniently placed for Blue Mosque and "old quarter". The breakfast was good with a choice of hot and cold dishes served from 07:30 until after 10:00. The hotel was exceptional value for two travelers sharing a twin room and a 3rd guest in a double room. What really stands out was the customer service from every member of staff from the reception to the cleaning staff. Very helpful and friendly and ready to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel. A special thanks to the guys who surprised me on my birthday! A lovely treat.

We stayed at this lovely peaceful hotel in Sultanahmet, Istanbul for four night in November. The room was beautifully clean and the bed wonderfully comfortable. All the staff we dealt with we're extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was fairly basic but loads of tea and coffee available and an unlimited choice of cereals, eggs sausage and vegetables plus fruit and breads were perfectly suited to us. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel for a short break right in the middle of everything you would want to see in Istanbul.

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Istanbul.

Firstly, the location is absolutely perfect. Situated between the Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and several museums and historical sites, we were able to see and do a lot in this area. The bazaars and spice markets are in walking distance and the popular Ayasofya Turkish Baths are practically on your doorstep - great to relax in the evening before returning to the hotel if you want to enjoy a chilled evening.

There are plenty of corner shops discreetly dotted around, smart looking eateries and restaurants, tourist shops and some busier streets with rooftop terraces and a bustling atmosphere. It's generally a quiet street but a few minutes walking, you'll find plenty going on in the day and evening. The main square with fountain is just round the corner!

The hotel staff were excellent on every level; friendly, accommodating and very helpful. One of the managers in particular welcomed us brilliantly, gave us plenty of useful information and marked up a map for us with useful suggestions. He even tried his absolute utmost to defuse a situation with an angry taxicab driver, which he didn't have to do.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were delicious and the breakfast room itself was very pretty. House keeping staff very discreet and even if you get up at 2pm, they'll tidy your room, as long as you leave the relevant sign out.

The room was spacious and very well designed. Simple but elegant with warm colours, gently lighting, gold gilt mirrors and sparkly window dressers. Plus the pillows were fantastically plump!

Only bad points ... Walls/floors are a bit thin and sometimes noise from other guests was very noticeable (note we were located right next to reception so this was half expected) and there was lack of plug sockets!

Apart from that, the hotel is truly wonderful. Main high points - undeniably location, service and decor.
