Located within 5 minutes walk from the touristic part of Istanbul. Room (with toilet and AC) was small but nice. The staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast was of good quality and served in a terrace with a nice view of the sea.
Only little minus (where they can improve a little) is about the frequency with which they clean the room...Apart from this, great value for money! Recommended.

We have just came from Istanbul and this hotel was little but nice. Rooms were extremly clean and the receptionist is very kind. He stays there 24 hours a day and helps to everybody with smile on his face even when you wake up him at night (so you can't be angry if he can't speaks english very well :)) Hotel is a little bit hard to find (it is near hostel Sinbad and some Best Western hotel if it helps). Breakfast in on the roof (classic - every day the same). The weakest point are thin walls - you can hear everything and everybody from this few rooms in hotel so I suggest earplugs :). In conclusion very nice rooms inside in comparison to first impression and very kind employees.

Room Tip: Room by reception is very noisy because telephones are ringing over the night and early in the morni...

Overall Property Review - Can be really hard to find as it was for taxi driver. Great location for seeing many sights and varied restaurants within 5 to 30 minute walk. Staff friendly, but speak little to no English. No elevator. Outdoor sign is not lit. Rates are good. Rooms recently renovated and in good repair. Breakfast choices good (boiled egg, sliced meat, potatoes, sliced cucumber, 2 cheeses, bread, strawberry/chocolate/honey spreads, fruit, olives, milk, juice, coffee, tea, water) served from 7:30 to 10:30 on terrace with nice view. Walls VERY thin and doors to rooms and bath door not fitted properly so most have to be closed with force which is VERY loud. The woman who services the breakfast area and who does house cleaning is excellent. Plumbing noises and voices also carry. Had a sign posted that credit card machine was broken and when I asked they said it was indefinite, so had to pay in cash. I have doubts they are going to fix it.
For the single room 302
On The Good Side - In great shape, clean, cool air conditioner, plenty of light, nice bathroom (note: shower is "open" meaning no curtain so the entire bathroom is shower stall), Good TV with several English-speaking channels, comfortable bed.
On The Bad Side - Very small. Perhaps smallest room I've ever stayed in. Few places to place suitcase or daily items. Only one window.
For the double room 301
On The Good Side - better size in relation to designed for 2 people. Small stand to place items. Slightly bigger bath area with window. Everything same as 302.
On The Bad Side - Toilet and sink placement not considered well. Cannot use toilet sitting straight but must be at angle (see picture). Air conditioning remote acted flaky once or twice. Door lock was not always easy to use.
