Rested with my sister in Istanbul in February 2013 for 10 days.
Found this hotel through the booking.com - looking for a convenient location and low price. We all loved it!The hotel is really very good location - just 10-15 minutes to all the important places!
Very helpful staff - Ruhi - great manager and Lily - the best housekeeper!
It was clean, quiet, comfortable and pleasant.
We really enjoyed it - thank you for a nice holiday!

We didn't stay at the hotel!
We made a reservation and when we arrive to the hotel nobody open the hotel for us, we wait for about 15 mins till some one open the door, they cancelled our reservation without notifying Booking.com and us!
They said that they have a problem and they can't give us a room! We waited for an hour in the hotel to save this problem!
We almost wait two hours in the hotel, at the end they gave us a reservation at another hotel and they called a taxi to take us!
Although that was a good juster from them, but it wouldn't take away the bad experance we had!

Hello Dear Guest /

First of all we are sad that you are not happy .we all the time trying our best to make our gusets holiday enjoyable. But there are some point i have to express.
As soon as we read this review, we have quarantined the room considering the truth possibility of the claim. We have called a nationally authorized firm to conduct the investigation and clean the room. All rooms are disinfected without recieving the report concerning bedbugs from the company. They have today submitted their reports. All rooms were clean. Report is available upon your request.

We have not heard any such compliants from our guests before. Previous and on-going reviews are clear about how neat, clean and hygenic our rooms are. We are VERY critical at this topic. It is highly probable that, the reviewer might have biten by bugs coming from different sources.

The point we would like to make is, we are ready to take any actions in the process of removing the dissatisfaction of our guests. If we had known during the reviewer's stay, we would indeed do our best to make his vacation better.
We are working hard to increase our quality standards. We welcome any review in this context and thank the reviewer very much for offering us a perspective on how to increase the quality of our services.

Staying there as I write. Good points:
Close to major attractions
One of the front desk speaks English and is polite, but not helpful
Good Internet connection
Negatives:
Be prepared to catch cold as heating is only turned on at night. By morning when room gets warm its turned off. Cycle happens everynight. Was told that's their, process,.
As everyone else said it's hard to find so u do get lost.
Missed breakfast everyday as they only send it after 8 if only u call.
Bathroom tissue roll was not replaced.
Roof was less than 6 ft and no elevators. Had to carry luggage to the 8th floor(painful )

Room Tip: Ask for the final rate before arriving. I was asked to pay additional 5 euros per night after arrivi...

I booked this hotel based on price, location, and ratings on booking.com. The hotel is in a convenient location to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. The hotel is hard to find because it is not marked well and is located on one of the many side streets in the area. The room was not ready after the 1:00pm check in time and was not very clean. I had stains on my sheets and the roll of toilet paper was wet. The hotel takes credit cards, however I was informed at check out that I had to pay an 18% surcharge if I used one. I was not informed of this at check in nor is this indicated on the hotels website or on booking.coms website (where I booked the hotel). I informed the staff of this and still had to pay the charge. I have never been so disappointed with a hotel stay before and would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is not well known in the neighbourhood. We have asked many people in the street, but nobody could help us find the hotel. When we finally arrived the room was really dirty. Everywhere we found long black hairs (even at the sheets in our bed) and it was very dusty. 2 out of 4 lights were not working. The hotel staff promised (several times) to fix these lamps the same day but when we left 4 days later the lights were not fixed.
The hotel staff shuffled our belongings when they made up the room (even put things in the cabinets and drawers) without our permission.
Two times we did not get clean towels eventhough we put these on the floor to be exchanged. We needed to use the towels for wiping of all the furniture in the very small bathroom (there is no shower curtain so everything got wet).
There were major construction works ongoing in the street and the adjecent house. This started early in the morning and stopped around 11 pm.
The breakfast is served in your room and it's limited to a few slices of french bread.
The beds were very hard. You could feel all the springs.
The hotel is very noisy.

Location of the hotel is great, close to everything, quite central, evethough the whole street is being restored, so walking was pretty impossible. Nevertheless, I really liked this hotel.
Rooms are small, but cozy, free wi-fi a great plus, the only thing I would change is the lack of a proper shower (there are no courtains, you just simply shower in te toilet), but, to tell you the truth I did not find this very hard to do.
Breakfast is served in the room on the request, so you can plan your time and it was continental, and with all the great food in Istanbul, this was a good option.
Stuff kind and nice, ready to help, make a coffee/tea whenever you ask..

I would recommend it and most likely stay there again, due to great value for money.
