Even though it's been recommended online and in guides I was the only tourist there. Every seat was taken by locals of all walks of life. Businessmen and workmen all enjoying a fantastic Turkish coffee. It's in a little alley off Iskitlal with some tables and stools to sip your cafe and take a little break. Highly recommend it.

Hard to find, but when you do, you will be sure to be back as they serve the best Turkish coffee if you appreciate Turkish coffee! Small tables and chairs outside, but you won't have trouble finding seats.
Go and try !

Love coffee , had Turkish style before in UK.
But this was miles ahead.
So thick not even a bull would sink is what it means !
Was recommended by culinary tour guide !!
A little hidden on alley off main high street .
Don't be intimidated !! Enjoy it !!
Will return

We travelled in winter and actually planned the trip to this coffee shop as it was advised by lots of people coffee lovers who visited Istanbul.
The place is few steps off Istiklal Caddesi. Couldn't place it exactly on the map but thought of asking people on the way there.
Surprisingly not too many people knew about it, so it's like a Coffee Gem you have to look for, but definitely worth it :)
You can sit outside or inside. I would advise to sit inside so you can see the history of the place, plenty of pictures on the wall, and of course great way to see how coffee is prepared a cup at a time :)
