Stayed for 9 nights mid-May. We had a pleasant stay in room 4 overlooking the garden accommodating 3 people. The suite was very spacious and was more than enough all of us to move around comfortably. The bathroom was very big. Free wifi with excellent signal strength.
Daily housekeeping and towels were replaced every day as well. Air conditioning worked very well and this will definately come in handy during the hot summer months.
There is free buffet breakfast every morning which you can take inside or outside in the garden. There is not a large selection but what they do have tastes great and it filled us up every morning. They had fresh fruits (not the canned ones) and vegetables like strawberries, tomatoes, cucumber slices, cherries, nectarines and one day they had delicious blackberries, hard boiled eggs, egg omelettes, sausages, muffins, cake slices, bread and the usual tea, coffee and juices.
It's about a 10 min walk from Cemberlitas tram station but the streets are very steep and can be difficult to navigate with luggage. There is no sign outside so it is easy to overlook, we only found the place correctly by asking the locals.
I love the location, it's close enough to the main tourist sites in Sultanahmet (within walking distance) but also far enough away from the tourist trap restaurants/stores.
Excellent communication with Mohammad (I believe he is the owner?) via emails prior to arrival. He answered all my questions promptly.
There were some areas they can improve on. Some of the furniture and floors in the suite looked worn out although I understand this hotel is only a few years old? As well, I found housekeeping could do a slightly better job at cleaning.
But all in all, we were very pleased with our stay and if I were to return back to Istanbul, I wouldn't hesitate to return.
