Ignore all of Time Out Istanbul's glowing reviews of this place. They have no idea what they are talking about. Do NOT kid yourselves, this is NOT a Spanish tapas restaurant. Plates were totally lacking in flavour, originality, presentation...and not one resembled Spanish tapas. Tomato and mozzarella salad is Italian--skimped on tomatoes, way too much cheese, bland as could be. Mushrooms baked with chorizo--again, chorizo is Italian, but we overlooked it because we were excited to see pork on a menu. Four mushrooms stuffed with what must have been deli ham, smothered in lukewarm, greasy cheese, and served on a piece of flavourless toast. Totally gross. Grilled calamari was decent, but portion tiny (I know, I know, this is tapas, but seriously--you can get twice as much calamari at any Turkish meyhane for less money--and it tastes much, much better). Three teeny dishes + 1 order of totally pathetic nachos (we thought some of the dishes might take a little while so we ordered these to snack on first....you would NEVER see these on a real tapas menu) + 3 glasses of sangria came to 90 TL. Total rip off, considering the quantity, but especially the quality of the food. We could have spent the exact same amount at any meyhane in the city on twice as much--and ten times better--food. Avoid this place! I wish we had.
