I stayed here for six nights in April.
The room was clean and typical for large hotel. Breakfasts were very good with good service and a better than normal selection.
Staff were friendly. Location is good and if you are on the higher floors you get a good view although most rooms do not get a view and only look over other hotels or buildings.
Beds were comfortable with nice linen. Hotel facilities are excellent. Staff were all friendly.
Location is good with Taksim Square Station not far away. The shopping street of Istikla Cd in 10 minute walk.
This is a good safe option for Istanbul.

Room Tip: Get a room on a higher floor to get a view

The location is amazing, you can reach easily anywhere in Istanbul. Thé stuff is very very professional. Breakfast and lunch was very good too. The only missing thing was a Bosphorus view, but you can have it with a five minute walk. You can enjoy the Gezi Park and the 24 hour living Istanbul.

Nice hotel for business minded people in Istanbul.

The rooms are big and classy. The service is good, even sometimes you need to ask twice for a towel at the room service since the first time it will be forgotten. The food was excelent, the smell and the architecture was amazing. We had a business room booked as well and it perfectly fits for business interests.

Only issue we had: Charging 15 Euros for the internet per day (only 250 MB upload) and only available for two devices is a bit weak for a luxury hotel where we paid over 300 Euros per night. It should be incldued.

Apart from that: A wonderful stay!

Pros:
- Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff.
- very close to taksim, yet removed from the crowds
- excellent eateries and cafes on premises
- a well-designed spa is available
- rooms are cleverly designed, black-out roller shutters (which you can control from your bed) - coupled with good insulation, help you sleep in in a very busy city.

Cons:
- although a one-off event, heliport was being renovated and work started very early for three days (despite the staff's assurance that it wont). Having said that, the hotel staff immediately stopped the works each of the days.
- again maybe a one-off event but the reservation made through hotels.com was not accepted (even though the payment was made and a reference was given through hotels.com). Divan charged a slightly higher fee (which was not pleasant when you are checking in) but Hotels.com refunded the difference (great help on hotels.com's part).

My husband and I were attending a conference and we loved our stay here. Lovely room, loved the pool, loved the Hamam and spa area (men & ladies separate) and there is a gym also. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly, and spoke reasonable English. A short stroll to Taksim Sq and local restaurants and quite close to Dolmache Palace. If you get a chance to stay here go for it ! J&I Smith, Sydney, Australia.
