excellent choice for a stay in istanbul, wether for business or leisure, this is the place to go, respectable place with respectable staff, big rooms, great service, one minute from the tram that can take you all around istanbul for much much less than trasportation by taxi and most of all this place is away from the busy taksim area. we stayed there in early April, and we used to take the tram and go to all the mosques and museums like sultanahmet, topkapi palace, haya sofia and the grand bazar within few minutes from the hotel. really realy great place to stay in, very clean, great food, great service and very helpful staff. the surprising bit is that the rate for this lovely hotel is the same for a much much smaller and unknown hotel in taksim area. I would highly recommend this place and I will stay there if i go to istanbul again.

Room Tip: we just stayed in a premium double room and it was great enough, very spacious and even though it was a city view we were not bothered by the traffic sound at all, the sound insolation is great.

I have stayed here on 2 diffident occasions.

A nice , clean hotel. Nearby tram station (Pazartekke) is really useful to move around fast and economically. For those who want to look for dinning options outside the hotel, there are good number of local restaurants close by, within walk-able distances, towards Çapa tram station . For shopping of essentials ( water, toiletries, small eats ect) , there is Carrefour Express (mini mart) , close to the traffic signal next the hotel.

Room size is adequate for two and the interior is tastefully done. Toiletries are well stocked. In the standard rooms, no provision for coffee/tea making.

Nothing to rave about the service, warmth was generally missing. Lobby side bistro is an exception.

Travel tip: If you are planning to travel to this hotel from Ataturk airport with luggage, please use Zeytinburnu station to change lines. It is the easiest.

Room Tip: rooms facing the road side offers nice view of the surroundings . if you are a shallow sleeper, opt for higher floors. (4th or 5th). otherwise you are likely to get hassled by the sirens of numerous emergency vehicles going in and out of some close by hospital.

Just spent 5 days and the hotel is overall good. We had a presidential suite which just costed little more than other suites. It is a huge room with nice furniture, two bathrooms, two TV sets and all possible amenities. The breakfast has a great selection for really all tastes. The staff is also polite and helpfull. The tram station in front of the hotel is very convenient and the tram network in Istanbul is very efficint. It is a 15/20mins ride to the old city. BUT actually no point staying outside the city centre as once you go back to the hotel after a full day out you don't feel like going out again. And there is really nothing around, no restaurants or things to do. The hotel is on a busy street with no views. A better option would be to stay in the centre hotels where you can just pop by to relax or leave your shopping bags and go out for dinner or so. In fact the hotel restaurant is not worth, the buffet is rather poor, not at the same level as the breakfast and that was quite disappointing.

Room Tip: The presidential suite was excellent. The junior suite rather poor.

The hotel was Brilliant. right across the street from the tram station. restaurant had lots of options for dinner. The corridor was very loud we must have had lots of kids on our floor and you could hear everything. when someone spoke in the corridor it would just be very loud. the beds are uncomfortable so I was not able to sleep very well and then add the noise to that = I was always tired.

I thought the staff was extremely helpful. They were there to answer all our question. Breakfast buffet was very good although i could have dine without all of the pork which was toxic. Bathroom is traditional which is a little different than US standards. Didnt like the half glass curtain or the gutter balcony. Location is rather remote but the tram is near
